Billie Piper ditches signature blonde locks for striking new raven look
Billie Piper has ditched her signature blonde locks as she's shown off her brunette look whilst at Heathrow airport with her boyfriend and daughter.
The actress and former singer, 39, definitely looked like she was opting for comfort on the trip as she rocked a pair of baggy trackie bottoms, some bright red sliders and a brown pinstriped shirt.
Her short hair was tied in a messy half-up half down style and she opted to go for minimal makeup for the family holiday.
Billie was at Heathrow airport arriving from Dallas, and she was joined by boyfriend Johnny Lloyd and their daughter Tallulah who looked cute in a grey outfit as she rode a scooter which her mother helped her to direct.
Former Doctor Who star Billie first debuted her new locks earlier this year, which are a big change to her trademark blonde style that she's rocked since she famously burst onto the UK chart scene at just 15 years old with her single Because We Want To.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, the star unveiled the dramatic hair transformation to her 474,000 followers, captioning the snap “emo glow up” and tagging in her hairdresser John MacPherson.
Several fans took to Twitter to discuss Billie’s major hair change, with one tweeting: "Billie Piper has black hair omg I've never seen her like this before"
Her airport appearance comes just over a month after she was rushed to hospital after injuring her back whilst filming the latest series of I Hate Suzie.
The actress is said to have hurt her back while filming a Strictly Come Dancing-esque scene on the show as her character gets a new job on a show named 'Dance Crazee' to support her son.
It's been said that Billie sought medical attention after hurting herself "quite badly" while attempting the routine.
A source told The Sun: “It was a case of life imitating art as she found out just how challenging taking part in a contest like this can be.
"Billie hurt herself quite badly trying to master some challenging moves and it was decided it would be best if she went to hospital to get checked out properly."
The insider insisted that she was "fine" in the end, but the "setback will have some impact on filming".
Billie is mother to two sons Winston, 13, and Eugene, ten, who she shares with her ex-husband, fellow actor Laurence fox.
She also shares her three year old daughter, Tallulah, with her current boyfriend Johnny – the former frontman of a grunge band called Tribes – who she's been with for six years.
