Binky Felstead says she’s a ‘natural mummy’ as pregnant MIC star preps for baby 3

Just weeks away from giving birth, Binky Felstead has opened up about the difficulties that have come from being pregnant while already a mum to two young children.

Speaking candidly about the exhaustion she's felt this time around, the former Made In Chelsea star, 32, tells us that after the interview concludes she'll be taking herself off to bed, adding that her toddler Wolfie, two, is likely to keep her up at night.

Along with her son Wolfie, whom she shares with husband Max Darnton, Binky is also mum to five-year-old India from her relationship with Josh Patterson.

The soon-to-be mum-of-three tells us: "It’s knackering having a toddler as well as a five-year-old. Wolfie’s very into Mummy at the moment – lots of cuddles, lots of picking up.

"Walking up the stairs and lifting him is basically a workout in itself! And I’m quite big. I think the third time around my body is just a little bit more used to stretching out and my joints are a bit sore this time. I’m just a bit tired to be honest."

However it's not all exhaustion as Binky tells us she's a "natural mummy" and often goes with her gut when it comes to making decisions.

"I like the fact that I’m quite chilled as a mother. feel like I’m quite a natural mummy. So, although I don’t always get it right – I don’t think anyone does – I feel like I go with my gut a lot."

She continues: "Having two Geminis and as a Gemini myself, I know my kids quite well as I was like them growing up. I think I’m quite in tune with them."

Discussing the importance of taking care of yourself during pregnancy, and after, Binky continues: "I’m trying to be pretty healthy, because what I eat, the baby basically has as well. But I’ve allowed myself cheat days.

"And I’m going to go to bed after this because I’ve just been so active and so busy. I can barely think straight! So I’m going to listen to my body and lie down for a bit, because I’ve got no sleep ahead of me tonight and I know that.

"So I’m just looking after myself because if I go down, the whole house goes down! I’m not going to be able to function and look after my children then.

"I always say that being a mummy is brilliant, exciting and wonderful, but you do need to take some time for yourself. Going out and seeing friends or having a massage or even washing your hair – just having a bit of self-care is so important."

And when it comes to parenting advice, Binky adds: "Listen to your body and relax when you need to. Just be prepared, and don’t be scared to ask for help – that’s really key."
