George, who is vegan, will not have to eat the insects and other animal parts in the show’s infamous eating trials, but his plate of fermented plums still seemed to be just as stomach-churning.
As he attempted to wolf down six of the fermented plums, George hilariously quipped that he could ‘eat anything’ as Matt cackled as he gagged over the meal.
The challenge kicked off with Boy George being presented with a plate of wraps, with a line of fermented plums on the side.
The Karma Chameleon singer wasted no time as he immediately shoved one in his mouth and quickly started to eat another three in one go.

Upon his arrival in the Australian jungle, Matt was pelted with creepy crawlies in his first Bushtucker trial and then had to face the Tentacles of Terror in Thursday’s episode after a public vote.
In his first challenge, Matt and fellow new arrival, comedian Seann Walsh, 36, were forced to undertake Beastly Burrow in a bid to win 11 meals for camp – but they only managed six.
But Matt then won 11/11 stars for camp as he took on Tentacles of Terror, which saw the West Suffolk MP swim through murky waters and dodge critters while trying to prove himself to the general public.
Meanwhile, MailOnline revealed Matt will have to face yet another gruesome Bushtucker Trial as bosses are plotting a Who Wants To Be A Millionaire themed challenge.

On Saturday night’s show, two campmates, voted for by the public, will take on Who Wants To Look Silly On Air, which will see the unlucky pair answer six quiz questions in 60 seconds – while being submerged in fish guts, slime, and smelly custard.
The former Health Secretary is expected to be voted for again after viewers vowed to elect the politician for ‘every single trial’.
A TV source revealed: ‘If Matt gets voted to do Saturday’s trial; it’s not going to be an easy ride.

‘The trial team have created a hellish task inspired by Who Wants To Be A Millionaire but camp mates taking part don’t have a chance of leaving the trial clearing without being covered in fish guts and slime.
‘They will be able to ask hosts Ant and Dec, like in the TV show when contestants can call upon Jeremy Clarkson, and phone a friend in camp – it’s set to be one to remember.’
Matt’s joint trial with George comes after the singer made his opinions about the former Health Secretary very clear as he broke down in tears after his arrival.
He said if his mother had died from Covid he would definitely walk out of the Australian jungle quitting the ITV show.

However, he doesn’t want Matt ‘to spoil this experience and revealed he is ‘not good at hiding’ how he really feels about someone.
Speaking to Scarlette, the hitmaker explained his anger: ‘You know, beginning of the pandemic my mum was in hospital. I wasn’t allowed to see her. I thought she was going to die.
‘I was tweeting Greenwich hospital going, ‘Please look after my mum.’ I used my name, I was like ‘Please look after my mum.’ And they did, she was fine.

‘I feel like, I don’t want to be sitting here like I’m having fun with him.
‘It’s difficult for me because, you know, had something happened, if my mum had gone, I wouldn’t be here now. I would have gone when he walked in.’
The Karma Chameleon singer, who was visibly upset, later took to the Bush Telegraph after finding himself conflicted and worrying whether he wanted to remain in the jungle.
Boy George continued: ‘If I had lost my mum, I would go. And I feel a little bit selfish, you know, just kind of… everyone’s so nice to him and I was like Jesus, what we gonna do?

‘I don’t want to spoil this experience for myself. I’m not good at hiding what I feel. Especially when it’s something so strong.’
Boy George told Sue Cleaver that he thought Matt looked ‘super nervous’ because he ‘could hear it in his voice’ when he first entered the camp.
The actress wisely told the singer: ‘I think sleep on it tonight. Why he came in and what he’s doing here, is not our responsibility and it’s not for us to take on.’
