Britney Spears Reportedly Records New Version Of ‘Tiny Dancer’ With Elton John
Britney Spears has reportedly recorded a new version of “Tiny Dancer” with Elton John.
According to Page Six, Britney recently met with Elton at a Beverly Hills recording studio to cut a new take on his 1971 classic.
Britney and Elton reportedly recorded the song with support from Grammy-winning super producer Andrew Watt.
According to sources, the track will be out next month via Universal Music. It would mark Spears’ first official release since her 13-year conservatorship ended last year.
“This was Elton’s idea, and Britney is a huge fan. They have recorded a remix of ‘Tiny Dancer’ as a full duet — and it is incredible,” Page Six quotes one music industry insider as saying.
“Britney was in the studio in Beverly Hills last week with Elton for the super-secret recording session overseen by uber-producer Andrew Watt.”
“They’ve already played it for people at their record label, and everybody is freaking out. It is so good,” the source teases. “They are saying this is going to be the song of the summer. Britney is officially back. She’s back to work, and she’s super excited.”
Elton co-wrote “Tiny Dancer” with Bernie Toupin. The song was part of his 1971 album, Madman Across the Water.
