Carol Vorderman, 62, stuns in bikinis but admits she’s dreading I’m A Celeb shower scenes

Carol Vorderman sent fans wild as she shared her process of choosing swimwear for I'm a Celebrity… South Africa.

The 62-year-old TV star is one of the contestants heading into the South African jungle for the upcoming series of I'm A Celebrity… South Africa.

In the lead up to the premiere of the show next week, Carol has taken to her Instagram to share videos she filmed in September last year while she was filming for the ITV series.

In one video, the former Countdown host was seen trying on and showing off several different bikinis as she tried to decide which ones to pack with her.

She went on to show off a leopard patterned bikini top before turning to the camera to say: "Trying on the bikinis today. I could use that thing that they did in Sex And The City, take or toss with I think bikini shorts for me."

Sharing her nerves ahead of the shower scenes in the jungle camp, she said: "You know, that shower scene stuff. Blooming heck."

She then tried on a white one-piece swimming suit which she quickly deemed as not being practical and joked she will have to "cut it up" to a two piece as it was very tight.

She went on to try on another white one piece suit with a zip on the top to show off some cleavage.

She said: "So I thought, 'ahah, I could do with swimming costumes.' I think this is a take. Dressed for dinner."

Next up was a fun, Union Jack bedazzled bikini, which she was very excited about. She told the camera: "Thought I'd be a bit patriotic out here. Very excited. I'm like bursting. I'm trying to keep a lid on it at the moment. Anyway, a patriotic moment."

Carol captioned the video: "Bikini choices….ugh… SEPTEMBER 2022 @imacelebrity… South Africa

"I dread the shower bits in camp, absolutely dread them but it’s hot and sweaty out there and you get filthy when you’re doing a trial….so time on my hands, used the next few days to choose some bikini things… and I’m glad I did… there were a few that were just a little too tight and a little tricky to get off!!! Jeez."

Commenting on the clip, one fan wrote: "Vorders about to break the internet and she knows."

A second person penned: "You look bloody great girl , keep doing what your doing."

Her fellow jungle all-star Helen Flanagan commented: "So hot" along with a row of different emojis.

Davina McCall also commented with a long row of red love hearts.

It comes after Carol revealed that the first thing she wanted to do when returning to the jungle was to thank hosts Ant and Dec.

She said: “It made me realise that you need to live in the now. I want to say a big ‘thank you’ to Ant & Dec when I see them in South Africa and I can’t wait to take part in this new series."

I’m A Celebrity… South Africa is set to air on ITV1 and ITVX at 9pm on April 24.
