Inside George, Charlotte and Louis normal upbringing Kate and William are striving for

Despite their lavish royal lives, Prince William and Kate Middleton attempt to give their kids a life “as normal as possible.”

Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis have childhoods not easily comparable to those of everyday UK citizens.

They all have their starring roles in the upcoming Coronation of King Charles, and they go to the school once graced by the likes of Eddie Redmayne, Tom Hiddleston, Bear Grylls, and Crown actor Dominic West.

But, royal author Tom Quinn has argued that their parents, the Prince and Princess of Wales, try to give them the most normal life possible.

While Tom, who has written books like 2021’ Scandals of the Royal Palaces, admitted that normal is not the same as the “rest of us”, he stated that the family's recent move to Windsor could have been to give the kids more space.

Speaking to The Express, Tom explained: "I think what William and Kate are really trying to indicate is that they will be involved much more with their children, especially their boys.

"So they will always have the example of Charles, who's been very public about being sent to Scotland to this dreadful school to make a man of him. That's all gone, there's no way that William and Kate will do something like that with their children."

"And even if they did board [at Eton College], they could still see their children every weekend, which wasn't the case for poor Charles up at Gordonstoun. So they'll be around more,” he added.

Kate, 41, and the Duke of Cambridge, 40, are no strangers to adapting their schedules to better care for their kids, as seen in 2019 when the couple did the school run before their tour of Pakistan.

Kate demonstrated her love once again last week when she penned a touching Mother’s Day tribute with never before seen pictures of her kids.

“Happy Mother’s Day from our family to yours,” she captioned the pictures, which were taken by Royal Family photographer Matt Porteous.

The snaps, which have since amassed over 1.3 million likes, showed Kate in a tree with her kids while another showed her tipping Louis upside down.

Fans gushed over the family snaps in the comments, with one person penning: “A loving mother, not afraid to embrace tradition, while living in today and a great role model for young Moms and women. Full of Grace and class while being kind and respectful of others. Your parents raised you very well. Loving family.”

“Nice to see the kids being kids, dressed in everyday clothes,” another said, while a third added, “Now that’s what you call a family tree.”

On the same day, King Charles wrote a similar tribute for his own social media alongside a picture of the late Queen Elizabeth and the Queen Consort’s mother.
