Charlotte Crosby hits back at Ulrika Jonsson after lip filler attack

‘I can’t help but feel sorry for people who tear others down’: Charlotte Crosby hits back at Ulrika Jonsson after she compared her lip filler to ‘two Michelin tyres’ in her latest column

Charlotte Crosby has hit back after Ulrika Jonsson likened her old lips to ‘two Michelin tyres’ before she recently had her filler dissolved.

The Geordie Shore star, 32, who recently welcomed her first child, said she feels sorry for others who feel the need to ‘tear people down’.

In a recent column, Ulrika, 55, questioned: ‘What did Charlotte see when she looked in the mirror at her swollen, augmented lips?’

Hitting back: The Geordie Shore star, 32, who recently welcomed her first child, said she feels sorry for others who feel the need to ‘tear people down’

In response to the attack, Charlotte shared Ulrika’s original column, and wrote: ‘I can’t believe we still live in a world where women still want to tear other women down and men also for that matter.

‘It’s even more bizarre that newspapers still allow it to be printed. The woman who wrote this article has managed to take a swipe at 3 people in this short piece.

‘I cannot help but feel slightly sorry for people who feel the need to tear others apart in a desperate bid for attention. Or to grab a few more readers.’

Opinion: In a recent column, Ulrika, 55, questioned: ‘What did Charlotte see when she looked in the mirror at her swollen, augmented lips?’

In the column, Ulrika also doubled down on her claims that Katie Price is ‘addicted’ to plastic surgery after undoing her sixteenth boob job.

Ulrika went on to say: ‘In another part of La-La Land, Charlotte Crosby of Geordie Shore fame has posted pictures of herself looking battered and bruised after having her lip fillers dissolved.

‘Clearly, the prospect of carrying on walking around as if you have two Michelin tyres attached to your mouth no longer appeals.’

Ulrika described Charlotte as a ‘pretty girl’ who decided to mess with her face, jibing that speaking and eating must have been difficult for her.

Last week, Charlotte showed off her bruised lips after her filler was dissolved in a YouTube video update, after choosing to go for a more natural look.

Former Celebrity Big Brother winner Charlotte filmed herself visiting a beautician where she got her plump pout deflated eight years after first having work done on her lips.

She told her fans ‘something has changed inside me’ and said her grandmother Jean, who she announced last month had died, disliked the altered look she’d gone for.

One-time Ex On The Beach star Charlotte said: ‘Me nana hated my lips, so if she knew I was getting this done, she’d be smiling from heaven.’

Revealing her deflated lips in her YouTube video, Charlotte told viewers: ‘They are horrendously bruised. They are so bruised. I don’t know when this bruising is going to go down.

Healing journey: Charlotte told fans she couldn’t wait for the bruising to go down to show them, displaying her smaller lips in her video

‘The bruising is bad but I bruise quite bad anyway. You want to see when I got my bloods taken at the hospital. My arms were in bits!’

Having moved into some brighter light, Charlotte pointed at her lips and continued: ‘I think you can tell when I’m talking how much the top one has just disappeared.’

She added: ‘I don’t think they’re going to go down much more than that because I always had a big bottom lip.’

Ready for action: Charlotte filmed herself at the beauticians where she had numbing cream put on her lips before getting hyaluronidase injected into them to dissolve the filler

Pointing at her top lip she said: ‘My Cupid’s bow was always good. I got all my filler in the side to fan them out because you can see I kind of lose my sides when they go down.

‘I’m not disappointed, I’m really not disappointed! I should have waiting for the bruising to go down to show you but I don’t know how long that’s going to take and then I’ll ruin it because I’ve got a photoshoot on Tuesday!’

She concluded: ‘A lot of my friends are saying that I look like a different person.’

Relaxed? Former Celebrity Big Brother winner was seen laying bag in the beautician’s chair before getting the filler dissolved

Charlotte revealed last month she was planning to get her lip fillers dissolved, admitting she never thought she’d ‘see the day’ that she would opt for a more natural look after first adjusting her lips back in 2014.

The Just Tattoo of Us presenter, who welcomed baby daughter Alba Jean last month, made the revelation just a year after Channel 5 pulled a documentary about her changing appearance following complaints.

Charlotte wrote on Instagram: ‘I’m just putting it out there… I’m getting my lips dissolved.

Pain is beauty: Charlotte squeezed her eyes shut as she had the injections in her lips which helped speed up the breakdown of the filler

Ouch! The star looked uncomfortable as she had a needle injected into her lips as part of the procedure

‘Never thought I’d see the day I’d say that. But It’s happening.’

Fillers are dissolved with injections of hyaluronidase which is to break it down, speeding up the dissolving process that would otherwise take place over time.

Charlotte previously hit out after she was criticised for having surgery, Botox and lip filler in a now-infamous 2021 Channel 5 documentary.

Charlotte Crosby’s surgeries over the years

Nose job: In 2016, Charlotte unveiled her new nose after a rhinoplasty procedure.

Speaking about her decision to go under the knife, the reality star opened up to Heat magazine about why it was so important to her.

Charlotte admitted scrutiny from the show’s audiences drove her to have the surgery.

Surgeries: Charlotte has spoke candidly about her various surgeries in the past and in 2016 she unveiled her new nose after a rhinoplasty procedure (pictured before, in 2011, and after, in 2019)

She told the publication: ‘It’s not like I can hide it. If I’d not been on TV, I’d never have got it done.

‘I do think [my nose] caused a lack of confidence, and you always compare yourself to other people who are on TV as well.’

Trolls: In October 2017, Charlotte confirmed she had undergone surgery to correct her ‘uniboob’ after she was body-shamed by vicious online trolls (pictured after her boob job in February 2018)

Lip filler: Charlotte’s lip size has dramatically changed since she first made her debut on Geordie Shore in 2011.

During an interview on This Morning in 2018, she admitted she only gets them done once a year.

She said: ‘I get them done once a year, I had a big problem down the sides, but once a year that’s it and I don’t think they’re that bad.’

Boob job: In October 2017, Charlotte confirmed she had undergone surgery to correct her ‘uniboob’ after she was body-shamed by vicious online trolls.

Speaking to Heat magazine, the reality sensation – who suffers from a medical condition called congenital symmastia – admitted that she would also compare herself to other girls, leading her to undergo the corrective surgery.

She confessed to the publication: ‘My uni-boob made me feel under-confident. It (congenital symmastia) really limited what I could wear without people saying, “What the f***’s wrong with her boobs?”‘

Broken nose: In November, Charlotte revealed she had broke her nose in a horror accident whilst holidaying in Cape Town.

The reality star shared pictures of her bruised and bloodied face on Instagram, sharing that she had cracked the bone.

What does she say about her surgeries?

Charlotte has spoken to MailOnline about her surgeries in the past, she said: ‘I have no regrets over my surgery. I never went over the top. I’m very happy and feel a lot more confident since I had the correctional (boob job).’
