Coronation Street’s Sue Cleaver wows fans as she shows off weight loss in new pic

Sue Cleaver sent her fans into a frenzy with a stunning new photograph shared on Instagram.

Taking to the social media platform, Sue posted a snap of herself before heading onto This Morning to chat to Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield as she teased her soap return.

In the photo, Coronation Street star Sue, 59, cut a trim figure in a pair of high waisted green trousers, a black top and a cropped leather jacket.

To complete the look, she wore a pair of classic black court heels. Sue also looked to have mixed up her usual hair-do with a shorter bob with feathering.

“Getting my glam on for @thismorning this morning,” she captioned the photo.

Sharing the details of her outfit, Sue informed fans that her trousers were from Reiss and that her jacket was from Mint Velvet.

Evidently feeling fabulous, the 59 year old looked more confident than ever.

Her celebrity pals were quick to comment on the post, with her once on-screen son Ryan Thomas leading the compliments with a string of heart-eye emojis.

“Looking fab Sue!” added Ru Paul’s Drag Race star Baga Chipz, as Loose Women’s Denise Welch penned a string of fire emojis.

“You look fabulous!!” also wrote Strictly Come Dancing’s Will Mellor, while Corrie co-star Sally Carman said: “You look great!”

Many of Sue’s 132,000 followers echoed similar sentiments, with one questioning if the TV star was in fact getting younger.

Another said: “Omg share your weight loss journey please. Looking fabulous”.

“you are glowing, you look absolutely stunning,” added a third.

Part of Sue’s recent weight loss comes after her I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! stint – meaning her Corrie character Eileen Grimshaw all of a sudden looked notably slimmer.

Fellow Corrie actor Anthony Cotton commented on Sue’s thinner appearance in a video as he welcomed back his long-time co-star last month.

He said: “She's back but she's a lot, lot thinner. She's half the woman – where is the other half?"

Sue responded: "It isn't half the woman.” Actor Sean Tully added: "Literally half the woman."

Sue was reunited with her onscreen family in the clip, where the actress said happily: "I'm with my boys, where I should be. Happy days."

Sue was later pictured on Instagram Stories wearing a party hat whilst tucking into Christmas lunch with her co-stars and crew, before getting back to filming.
