Courteney Cox, 58, channels Gen Z influencers (and Nelly Furtado) in hilarious makeover reel, plus more news

Yes, Courteney Cox, you are ‘slaying this right’

Introducing … Courteney Cox, Influencer Makeover Slayer. The “Friends” alum, 58, upped her already impressive Instagram Reel game on Thursday (Feb. 23) with a hilarious post that showed her transform into a Gen Z-style influencer after getting inspired by some heavy-handed makeover tutorials. The reel opens with Courteney sitting on the couch, ooh-ing and ah-ing while scrolling. “Oh, that’s cute … I want to do that,” she says to one in particular. The camera pace then picks up as we see Court adding layers of blush, thick cat-eye eyeliner, eyeshadow. She flings open her closet doors and rummages around before emerging — in slow-mo — in baggy, hip-hugging jeans, a crocheted crop top and baggy sweatshirt with her hair in two tiered ponytails on top of her head. Throwing up a few peace signs (as her dogs look confused at her feet), she poses for her phone then suddenly stops. “Oh s***, he’s home!” she blurts out before darting off-camera.

“Am I slaying this right?” Courteney captioned the clip. Based on the comments, the answer is a resounding yes. “I’m more invested in your reels than I am in my future,” one person joked. Others gave Court well-deserved props on her insanely chiseled abs. Then there was the contingent of users who agreed, as one person put it, Courteney “came out looking like Nelly Furtado 😆💞.” Slay on, sister.

Paris Hilton says she was drugged and raped at 15

Paris Hilton has shared memories of the sexual abuse she allegedly endured at Provo Canyon school as a “troubled teen” on multiple occasions. Now, she’s opening up for the first time about abuse she says occurred before boarding school, including being groomed and kissed by a teacher, and drugged and raped at 15. She details both incidents in her new book, “Paris, The Memoir,” out March 14. The teacher “would call me on the phone all the time, just flirting with me, trying to put in my mind that I was this mature woman,” Paris recently recalled to Glamour UK. One night, she said her convinced her to leave her house and get into his car. “We only kissed, but if my parents didn’t come, imagine what he would’ve tried to do?” she wondered.

Soon after that, Paris said she believes she was raped by one of the older guys she and her friends met at the mall in Los Angeles, where they often hung out. “And then one day, they invited us to their house and we’re drinking these berry wine coolers,” she said. “I didn’t drink or anything back then, but then when I had maybe one or two sips, I just immediately started feeling dizzy and woozy. I don’t know what he put in there, I’m assuming it was a roofie [Rohypnol].” When she came to hours later, “I remembered it,” she said. “I have visions of him on top of me, covering my mouth, being like, ‘You’re dreaming, you’re dreaming,’ and whispering that in my ear.” Despite those and other painful experiences, Paris, now 42, no longer lets shame hold her back. “I think I’ve just been through so many things that I’m a warrior, I’m a fighter, I’m brave,” she said. “And I’m a bada**.”

Kim Zolciak-Biermann’s home in Alpharetta, Georgia, won’t be auctioned off on March 7 due to foreclosure, as planned. That’s according to the law office of Brock & Scott, PLLC, which confirmed to Entertainment Tonight that the auction was canceled and no new date was scheduled. In a report published Friday (Feb. 24), the outlet said Brock & Scott “refused to provide a reason for the cancelation.” Citing a Fulton County notice of foreclosure made public on Wednesday, ET reported Kim and her husband Kroy Biermann defaulted on a $1.65 million loan they used to buy the mansion in 2012. The notice said Truist Bank was set to auction off the property as a result.

Speaking to TMZ on Wednesday, however, Kim’s daughters, Brielle and Ariana, denied the already-circulating auction reports. “Don’t believe everything you hear,” Ariana told TMZ when a reporter caught up with her and her sister in Los Angeles. She said the whole thing is a”misunderstanding” and the family’s possessions are all in the house. “Everything is still there. We all live there,” she said.

Simone Biles celebrates her bachelorette in Belize

“Let the bachelorette commence!” That’s how Simone Biles captioned one of a handful of posts and Stories on her Instagram on Thursday (Feb. 23) as she headed off to Belize with a group of girlfriends to celebrate her upcoming wedding. “The one where I’m the bride🎉🥂💍,” she captioned a shot of a hotel room filled with gifts and gold balloons that spelled out “BRIDE.” Other cute posts showed Simone and her pals posing for the camera, twerking and playing a drinking game called Tipsyland while wearing shirts that read, “Bach & Boujee” or in Simone’s case, “Bride & Boujee.” The Olympic gold medalist, 25, got engaged to Houston Texans safety Jonathan Owens, 27, last February and her Instagram’s been packed with loved-up posts featuring the couple ever since. Simone and Jonathan have not yet shared their wedding date.

Selena Gomez deactivates, then reactivates TikTok after announcing social media break

On Thursday (Feb. 23), as fans stirred up drama related to Selena Gomez, Kylie Jenner and Hailey Bieber, Selena hopped on TikTok live to declare she was “too old for this” and would be taking another break from social media. She was presumably over fans’ speculation about who of the three pop stars in question had shaded whom in posts and comments about everything from Selena’s eyebrows to Hailey’s feelings about Taylor Swift … despite assurances from Selena and Kylie that they’re actually fans of one another. As all of that chatter grew louder (amid news Selena has surpassed Kylie in Instagram followers), the singer deactivated her TikTok on Thursday, according to Cosmopolitan.com. But she reactivated it at some point on Thursday, and it remained live on Friday.

“I’m very happy, I’m so blessed, I have the best friends, the best fans in the whole world, and I just couldn’t be happier and I’m good,” Selena said on TikTok Thursday before briefly leaving the platform. “I love the way I am. I don’t care, I’m big, I’m not—I don’t care. I love who I am. And yeah, I’m gonna be taking a second from social media, because this is a little silly. And I’m 30, I’m too old for this, so. But I love you guys so much! And I will see you guys sooner than later, I just… I’m just gonna just take a break from everything.”
