All stars: The Wanted’s Siva Kaneswaran has reportedly been confirmed as the final star to sign up for the new series of Dancing On Ice after it was announced fellow pop star Michelle Heaton had joined the line-up

‘After all the boys have been through this year with losing their bandmate Tom Parker, fans will be willing him to go all the way in Tom’s memory.’

It comes after Siva was forced to drop out of the next series of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins after he passed out while filming for the brutal quasi-military training series in Thailand.

Siva was one of six stars discharged from the show on medical grounds, with Siva being one of three stars to faint on the same day while carrying heavy bags in the tropical heat as part of a gruelling task.

It was announced earlier today that former Liberty X star Michelle Heaton was the 10th celebrity to sign up for the upcoming series of Dancing On Ice.

Exciting! Darren Harriott, 34, has confirmed he’s signed up for the new series of Dancing On Ice as he joked his ‘giant feet’ could be problematic

The singer, 43, confirmed the exciting news on Monday’s Lorraine as she told the presenter she ‘never’ could have competed in previous years due to damage caused to her body by alcoholism.

She said: ‘I’m so excited, I can’t believe it. Me and the kids are huge fans and we watch every series. I would never have been able to compete because of the way my body is and I’m so grateful I got this this year so I can do it properly.

‘I have no idea what I’m doing. I’m not a skater. I’ve been on the ice a few times to audition. I get my skates tomorrow.’

After confirming he was appearing on the show, Darren Harriott joked his ‘giant feet’ could be problematic.

The comedian, 34, joined Trisha Goddard on Talk TV to confirm he was the ninth celebrity in the line-up, where he said: ‘I’ve got giant feet, I don’t skate and I can’t dance!

‘My family has already made bets – they’re making bets that I’ll fall on the first episode!’

Darren is best known for his stand-up work on the BBC Radio 4 series, Darren Harriott’s Black Label and was nominated for the Best Newcomer Award at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2017 and Best Show Award in 2019.

Eleven celebrities will embark on the ultimate challenge as they take to the ice each week, skating live in a bid to impress both the panel and viewers at home.

Speaking on Friday’s This Morning Joey revealed he had been set to appear in the 2013 series but had been ‘too immature’ and ‘messing around’ during a rehearsal.

Joining Dermot O’Leary and Alison Hammond in the studio, he said: ‘I’m so excited. I wanted something in my life with structure and it’s more serious than what I usually do.

‘I’ve done all the dating shows in the world but this is more serious… like SAS: Who Dares Wins.’

‘I used to go to foam parties in a dancing rink, I’m not the best skater. I did it maybe when I was 11 or 12 but nothing proper. It’s scary, it’s a competition, I’ve done The Jump which is similar sort of… well I won it but I don’t know how.

‘This is one of them shows I’m looking at thinking winning would be a bonus, I’m gonna put all my energy into it.

‘When I came out of the jungle in 2013, we met with producers, I went on the ice but I was a little bit immature and was messing around and it wasn’t right for me and the producers knew too but at this time of my life I’m ready.

‘I’m already in training now… well not for the ice but in the gym. Doing the running.’
