Dean Gaffney ‘fought Janice Dickinson’s husband after he tried to give her a kiss at I’m A Celebrity post-show meal’

Dean Gaffney reportedly had a fight with Janice Dickinson’s husband at an I’m A Celeb post- show meal after he tried to give her a kiss.

Robert ‘Rocky’ Gerner and Dean allegedly ended up shouting, swearing, pushing and shoving each other before the dinner at Phelwana Game Lodge for the ITV crew and celebrities. 

The fight was reportedly broken up by Joe Swash, former EastEnders star and pal of Dean, according to Gillian McKeith, who opened up about the incident to the Sun on Sunday. 

She said: ‘I was sitting there with my daughter Skylar and two-year-old grandson Landon and I became aware of a bit of a kerfuffle. I looked up and Dean and Robert were right there.

‘I saw Janice’s husband Robert hold Dean’s arms — he held his forearms tight, pushed him back and there was a push and pull going on.

She continued: ‘Then Dean released his arms and said, ‘Get off me’, and tried to free his arms from his grip before he swore and shouted to get away from him.’

The nutritionist revealed that the scuffle left Dean, who is joining the camp this week, very upset and as he walked away, people soon realised what the commotion was and the atmosphere became tense. 

She admitted that she was left shocked by the incident and could not believe what she had seen. 

However, she was told by Robert later in the meal that the kerfuffle had been a misunderstanding.

He told her that he was worried people would contaminate open wounds on Janice’s face if they kissed her.

The celebrity had the injuries on her face after taking a tumble during filming for the pre-recorded show.

Although Gillian described the argument as pushing and shoving, another insider has revealed that the fight reportedly involved ‘manhandling’ and swearing. 

The insider added that while things appeared to cool down, Dean spoke to Robert later in the meal and asked him to stay away.

Robert and Janice, who was reportedly ‘out of it’ after her fall, allegedly ate their meal and left immediately afterwards.

The former supermodel was taken to hospital and later had to pull-out of filming for the all-star show last year in South Africa.

Janice’s accident allegedly took place towards the end of filming and saw her fall over a cable at the camp in the dark and land on the ground.

A source told The Sun On Sunday that the incident happened because the star was looking for the toilet but lost her way and ended up taking a tumble. 

After the nasty trip, which left her with blood gushing from her head, she had concussion, a black eye, bruised cheeks, a split lip and hand fractures. 

The source added: ‘It was terrifying. Everyone was woken by a sickening thud.

‘A few of the campmates ran towards the noise and found Janice face down. She seemed to be semi-conscious on the ground.

‘Blood was gushing from her head and she was covered in dirt and dust.’

It is not yet known if the accident will appear in the series, which features a plethora of iconic stars from over the years.

While a tearful Janice held her hand over her mouth sobbing ‘I can’t do it!’, Jordan Banjo questioned ‘what is going on?!’ and Helen Flanagan sarcastically quipped: ‘Another day in paradise!’
