Dragons Dens Sarah Willingham on unbelievably bad ITV appearance
Sarah Willingham is an entrepreneur, CEO and former Dragons’ Den panellist, but she insists one challenge her talents might not extend to is quiz show knowledge.
The 49-year-old shared all about an appearance she says was disastrous during an exclusive interview with Express.co.uk.
“Oh my god, I was so bad. It’s unbelievable how bad I am at general knowledge,” she cringed.
“My brain has a photographic memory for things like food and places and smells and tastes.
“I can go back decades and tell you what I was eating at a particular time – but not really for me, the general knowledge quiz.”

The star says she got on well with the hosts and contestants, but feared she wasn’t a natural with the questions.
She declared adamantly: “I don’t think general knowledge really shows me in my best light.”
However, Sarah loved sitting in her armchair on Dragons’ Den and hearing the nation’s investment pitches – and she says she’d definitely return to the show if asked.
She admitted she’s already been in demand from show bosses on multiple occasions, but that the guest slots she was offered didn’t fit into her action-packed calendar.
The Nightcap PLC founder revealed she would have stayed on the show for a third series, but left for what turned out to be a mammoth three-year long round the world trip with family.

“It was just such a fun experience from start to finish,” she reflected enthusiastically of her time there.
“When you are already an investor in small businesses and you just get to sit in a big comfy armchair and 120 businesses come in and pitch to you – it’s crazy. What’s not to love about it?”
Meanwhile, Sarah revealed that she may make other forays into the world of TV, capitalising on her love of health and wellness venues.
“I take my team at Nightcap away on health retreats and boot camps where there’s no alcohol, there’s lots of exercise, lots of water, lots of healthy eating,” she revealed.
“I would absolutely love to do a TV show looking at all the health benefits [of the retreats for] women of my age, and which ones really make a difference.”
In the meantime, Sarah remains busy with at least 10 ongoing investments, but is open to whatever the future may hold.
