Emily Atack ‘SPLITS’ from boyfriend Liam McGough following seven month relationship – TWO months after going Instagram official with Big Brother star

Emily Atack has reportedly split from her boyfriend Liam McGough, just two months after going Instagram official with him.

The presenter, 32, is thought to have parted ways with the former Big Brother contestant and tree surgeon, 37, earlier this week.

A source told The Sun: ‘Emily and Liam have been friends for a long time and were together for seven months, but sadly have decided to separate.

Oh no! Emily Atack has ‘SPLIT’ from her boyfriend Liam McGough after a seven month relationship – but has vowed to remain ‘friends’ with the CBB star

‘They kept their relationship private for a while and only went public when the news broke that they were together.

‘Sadly, they decided they were better off as friends and parted ways a few days ago, but it’s all very amicable.’

MailOnline has contacted Emily’s representatives for comment.

Emily went Instagram official with new boyfriend Liam in August as she cosied up to him during a sunny alfresco lunch date.

The Inbetweeners star’s social media milestone further cemented her relationship with the former Big Brother housemate, with the loved-up pair posing for a selfie over boozy brunch.

TV star Emily and her former partners are believed to have been ‘dating for a short while’, but the romance has ‘started to get more serious recently’.

The I’m A Celeb star is said to be ‘very keen’ on taking things further with Liam, with the source adding: ‘Emily has been career-focused recently, she’s shrugged off talk of men and dating, etc.

‘But if you ask her, she feels really strongly she should be able to throw herself into having a good time and enjoying life just as much as any famous man should be allowed to.

‘She doesn’t feel any need to apologise for being pictured out with a few men, but this time around things are going well and she’s happy to keep things as they are for a while and see if it progresses.’

Liam was a housemate on the 2007 series of Big Brother where he finished in third place, losing out to winner Brian Belo.

Emily has been linked to a number of men in recent months, including comedian and former Strictly Come Dancing contestant Seann Walsh, and footballer Jack Grealish, 26.

The TV star and Manchester City footballer Jack were said to have enjoyed a secret six-week fling while he was still dating girlfriend Sasha Attwood – something the pair have vehemently denied.
