Emma Willis, 46, will be spending Christmas at home this year with her husband Matt Willis, 39, and their three children: Isabelle, 13, Ace, 11 and Trixie, 6. However, as the Voice UK presenter discussed her new TUI series, she admitted that she is “not ready at all” for the festive season this year, as she is left with a “mad scramble” before Christmas.

I’m not ready at all but I’m very excited!

Emma was asked in a recent interview if she was ready for Christmas, with the presenter admitting she was very behind.

She said: “Omg, I’m not ready at all but I’m very excited!

“I’ve slowly been trying to decorate the house and I know I need to do a little more shopping, but time is really ticking.

“I’ve also not done any wrapping so it’s probably going to be a bit of a mad scramble on Christmas Eve to get everything ready in time!”

Emma was then asked if she and Matt had any festive traditions they did with the children.

She replied: “Just being together really. We always spend Christmas as a family and get together on 23rd or Christmas Eve and then spend a good five days together.

“We eat, we sleep, we laugh, we play games, and we just really take time out to be with each other and be present.”

Matt and Emma have been very open in the past about how they parent their children and the different steps they take to make sure their children stay happy and safe.

The former Busted guitarist spoke on a recent podcast about why he has banned his children from social media.

Matt was asked how he deals with the topic of social media with his eldest child.

He said on the Sweat, Snot & Tears podcast: “Well we’ve kind of just had to say no for a while because we watch The Social Dilemma and docs about it.

“I can’t see much good from it for kids. I can’t see why, I can see lots of why not.

“The only reason is because your friends do and I did a lot of things my friends did and I now regret it. Not really a good enough argument for me.”

Matt himself has no social media now and admitted the only part he struggles with is “having no idea what anyone is talking about”.

Emma is currently promoting her new Prime Video series alongside First Dates star Fred Sireoux.

As The World Cup ends, The World Cook show ignites another hard-fought global knockout tournament, with 16 passionate and talented chefs put through their paces by a panel of exciting guest judges.

The competition kicks off at The World Cook HQ in the UK with the 16 contestants using their favourite ingredients to create a signature dish to represent their home nation.

But only half will make it through and get another chance to impress the judges in the Quarter Finals, covered across four episodes set in stunning locations.

Emma was asked what it was like working closely with Fred on the series.

She replied: “Fred is amazing, he is such a bundle of energy who I feel never really stops unless he’s sleeping!

“I was a huge fan of his from watching First Dates, so I was really intrigued to spend some time with him and he’s brilliant.”

Fred is currently in hospital after undergoing a major knee operation on Thursday, telling his fans that it was a “success” yesterday.
