Emmerdales Amy Walsh and EastEnders Toby-Alexander Smith share rare snap of daughter

Soap star couple Amy Walsh and Toby-Alexander Smith have shared a rare photograph of their baby daughter.

Emmerdale actress Amy, 35, has amassed 163K followers on Instagram, though doesn't often share photos or videos of baby Bonnie to her page.

In a recent video celebrating her daughter being 16-months-old, Amy shared a video of the family's "gorgeous day out in Leeds".

Originally, the plan was to go wedding ring shopping, but Amy quipped Bonnie "decided she wasn't up for it", and added that she didn't "blame her really".

She added: "I just can't believe how old she seems these days. It's amazing and also breaks my heart a little bit that she’s no longer a baby [heart emoji] Little Miss Independent!"

Amy also recently shared a sweet photo to her Instagram stories, which showed Bonnie kicking a pink ball alongside her actor father. Amy tagged her beau's Instagram page and added the outline of a heart to the bottom of the image.

In January of 2022, the actress confirmed to OK! that she and her EastEnders actor fiancé, 32, had welcomed their first child together over the festive period; a daughter named Bonnie.

The soap stars told us: "Well…it's been a busy week! Hope you all had a good one. HAPPY NEW YEAR from the three of us."

The exclusive first adorable snap of the three of them showed Amy and Toby pushing a pram along the street, while gazing lovingly at their baby.

The happy couple met while sitting in the audience of BBC One's beloved Strictly Come Dancing in 2019.

Emmerdale star Amy, whose sister isGirls Aloud singer Kimberley Walsh, was open about her experience of pregnancy and birth. In an appearance on ITV's hit panel show Loose Womenback in March 2022 , Amy said: "Yeah, it was tough. It wasn't easy at all. I kind of prepared myself for the worst but it was worse than the worst.

"I had to be induced for various reasons and risk of infection which obviously just catapults you doesn't it. The contractions were going fast but I wasn't dilating.

"It was just really hard to get her out at the end and various other complications. I had an epidural because of the induction but that came out so I had to have another one reinstated mid worst part of your contractions."

EastEnders actor Toby, who played serial killer Gray Atkins on the BBC soap, joined Amy on the panel and discussed how he felt about becoming a parent, and seeing Amy struggle during labour.

The 32-year-old explained: "It's so hard watching the person you love and care about, which is ultimately a magical thing, going through so much pain."
