Emmerdales Daisy Campbell dons tiny top and declares love for co-star

Emmerdale’s Daisy Campbell, who plays Amelia Spencer in the ITV soap, won fans’ admiration with a sexy selfie dressed in a bright yellow bralet, which she posted during some downtime from acting.

She then told her 46-year-old co-star Lisa Riley, who plays the role of Mandy Dingle, that she loved her.

Lisa made her own Instagram post, revealing: “Great morning here with my work daughter @daisycampbellofficial doing something special for @emmerdale.”

The pair had been getting glammed up together with the help of an in-house hair and makeup team, as she divulged in the caption.

Age-defying Lisa, who could pass as 19-year-old Daisy’s sister in the photo due to her extraordinarily youthful good looks, then received a cry of “Love ya!” on the app.

Daisy plays a teenage mum on the soap, who is receiving some much-needed help with juggling childcare and education.

Mandy has even offered Amelia some work as a book-keeping assistant at her salon, providing some much-needed distraction from the heartbreaking discovery that her baby’s father Samson (Sam Hall) was trying to get his hands on their little one’s trust fund.

Emotionally conflicted and unsure of who to trust, Amelia was reluctant to take the job at all at first – but she finally perked up and decided to accept.

Lisa seems to have teased that there is a major storyline to come involving the pair of them, leaving fans on tenterhooks.

Meanwhile, Daisy recently joked that some fans find it difficult to distinguish between her soap role and her real life, a problem that Lucy Pargeter (Chas Dingle) has also suffered.

Lucy was forced to privatise her Twitter account at one point, due to the extent of the online insults from fans who slammed her character’s affair and treatment of estranged husband Paddy (Dominic Brunt).

In Daisy’s case, there hasn’t been any extreme trolling, but she admits she has been berated by fans for drinking on nights out, due to her on-screen baby.

“It’s so funny. When people see me on a night out, they’re like, ‘Where’s your baby?’,” she chuckled to The Sun.

“When Amelia was pregnant in the show, I’d get people coming up saying, ‘Oh so you’re not pregnant in real life then?’, or they’d tell me I shouldn’t be drinking in ‘my condition’.”
