Emmerdale’s Michelle Hardwick and wife Kate share sweet festive snap with son and newborn

Emmerdale's Michelle Hardwick has shared a sweet Christmas picture with her wife Kate Brooks, son Teddy and adorable newborn baby girl, Betty.

The heartwarming snap was all about family, and the foursome looked like butter wouldn't melt as they posed in front of their Christmas tree wearing matching festive pyjamas, with Michelle's wife Kate cradling baby Betty.

Michelle, 46, who plays Vanessa Woodfield on the ITV soap, Emmerdale, also shared another snap of her family beaming in front of their named Christmas stockings hanging by the fireplace, as she held Betty this time whilst Kate held little Teddy.

In a third snap, Michelle and Kate smiled by the fire as they held their dog, looking like they were enjoying the perfect cosy night in.

Captioning the snaps, Michelle wrote: "Our annual Brooksy pyjama photo, but with one extra this year

"Wishing you all a wonderful Christmas & New Year".

Her followers were quick to comment, with one writing: "Omg amazing," with a number of heart-eye emojis.

Another wrote: "gorgeous!!! happy christmas brooksys! have a lovely one! xxx," as a third commented: "Aww this is so beautiful. Love you guys."

Michelle gave birth to Betty in November, and she announced her new daughter's arrival into the world on Instagram.

She shared one black and white snap as she greeted her baby girl whilst in theatre, having just given birth, and another of the tiny tot bundled up in a teddy fleece onesie as she snoozed in her car seat.

Alongside the snaps, Michelle wrote: "Introducing Betty Brooks to the world!Betty made a cheeky early appearance on Tuesday 15th November weighing 5lb 10ozs. We all love you so much our beautiful Betty B," adding a black love heart.

"We all love you so much our beautiful Betty B," Michelle added, as well-wishers flocked to the comments.

Fellow Emmerdale favourite Lisa Riley wrote: "Yipppeeeee!!! Congratulations to you all…Betty is going to be loved beyond words, especially by her big bro Teddy. Cannot wait for snuggles…..Betty Boo so 1976."

"Many congratulations – what a beaut! x" another person gushed.

A third fan commented: "Congratulations she’s gorgeous! Love the name too! Xx".

Michelle's wife wife Kate Brooks, is the executive producer on the Emmerdale series, and they announced they were expecting another child in July, as the couple shared the moment they told son Teddy the joyous news.

The little boy posed in front of a TV screen which read: "Coming this winter… baby Brooks #2."

Michelle penned alongside the sweet snap: "We are super excited about our gorgeous news!

"I’m 20 weeks today and can almost rest a cup of tea on my bump #bigbrother" with a baby and heart emoji.
