Ferne McCann has revealed her plans for an ‘intimate’ wedding now that her ‘circle is very small’ and says her bridal look will be ‘laid-back.’
The ITVBe star, 32, who’s engaged to fiancé Lorri Haines, told MailOnline that her dream wedding has ‘changed over the years’ and instead of a grand ceremony, she now envisages a stripped back affair.
Lorri asked Ferne to marry him in July last year after the couple had been dating for seven months and now, they’re expecting their first baby together, with the former TOWIE star keen to walk down the aisle shortly after the birth of their newborn.
In recent weeks, the bride-to-be has seen Made In Chelsea stars Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo cement their vows and says she became ‘obsessed’ with Sofia Richie’s big day, admitting while her nuptials will be small, she hopes to take inspiration from the US model.
In an exclusive interview to celebrate the launch of her new wellness app Shoorah, Ferne said: ‘My vision for my wedding has definitely changed over the years.

‘I would have previously said that I want a big wedding with everyone there, but my circle is very small now and I want something intimate and beautiful, definitely abroad, friends and family.
‘I know people say this all the time, but you want to look back and say everyone there are still in our lives.’
Ferne’s ‘circle’ has decreased in recent years after she fell out with former close friends Sam and Billie Faiers.
The pregnant star, who’s already a mum to five-year-old daughter Sunday, is no longer on speaking terms with her ex-TOWIE cast mates after a widely publicised scandal left their friendship in tatters.
Now, as she sees her wedding as an intimate gathering, Ferne is also fantasising over her dress and overall look for the big day.
She said: ‘Recently I have been saying to Lorri that I want to get married. The wedding plans… they didn’t go on pause because we never started. We don’t have a date.
‘I want to have the baby but with Sofia Richie’s wedding and Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo there was so much wedding spam, and I was getting serious FOMO, I want to get married, I really want to get married.
‘I am thinking, ‘what sort of bride am I going to be? What sort of wedding dress will I have?’ I was obsessed with Sofia Richie’s wedding!’

The TOWIE star explained that her romance with Lorri moved quickly because she ‘surrendered’ herself to him, opening up for the first time in ways she hadn’t done with exes
‘I’m thinking no shoes because when I do wear heels, I’m taller than Lorri… no shoes, no bra, that sort of really laid-back, effortless look.’
For some couples, getting engaged after seven months of dating is fast-moving, but Ferne’s fiancé Lorri says it was clear from the moment the pair met that they were destined to be together.
Both in their 30s, Ferne admits she bonded with Lorri, who’s a dad to son Noah, over their past ‘failed relationships’ and that they both share children of similar ages with previous partners.
Ferne said: ‘When I first met Lorri, I wasn’t looking for love. I was moving into my year focussing on being a mum to Sunday and as they always say as cliché as it is love finds you when you least expect it and that’s exactly what happened with us.
‘I walked into the relationship and laid all my cards on the table. Everything that I had ever hid back when I went on a date or I would tailor myself to bag a second date, I was just completely surrendered.
‘I was like, this is me, this is where my life is at and it was almost like warts and all, here I am, take it or leave it. Now, I’m pregnant and engaged.
‘We met each other when we were both in our 30s, both have similar aged children. We have both had our fair share of failed relationships… It just felt right and we wanted the same things.’
And the feeling is mutual, with Lorri explaining that he had a desire to overhaul his partying lifestyle prior to meeting Ferne, who he says became his first girlfriend that truly ‘fulfilled’ him.

Ferne is nearing the end of her second pregnancy and the couple are yet to discover the sex of the baby, with the ITVBe star undecided on what she thinks it could be
He said: ‘I was living a nice lifestyle in Dubai, and I was working hard, partying and doing anything I wanted to do.
‘But when I met Ferne, it was something I was always looking for. ‘I’ve had relationships, but I’ve never been fulfilled, deeply or properly and meeting Ferne changed my world.
‘I got to the point where I stopped going out in Dubai and I would sit at home reading books… I stopped doing a lot of things. And then I met Ferne.
‘The universe prepared me to meet her because six months before that I was still partying and going to and from Dubai and the UK. I was all over the place and it wouldn’t have worked but I really settled down.’
Ferne and Lorri are not only engaged to marry but today have launched their first joint business venture, a new wellness app called Shoorah.
The couple explained that after both using different platforms to improve their mental health and wellbeing, they decided to create subscription based Shoorah, which includes features such as a gratitude journal, daily affirmations, and completing a regular life ‘cleanse.’
Ferne said: ‘It made sense for us to start a business and we put our brains together.
‘I wanted to do something that was totally aligned with where I am right now and purposeful… I guess that was the birth of Shoorah.
‘It is a platform that will help others and is convenient and not overwhelming. We didn’t want to consume anymore of people’s time because it can be difficult to maintain a habit.
‘We have designed every single feature so people can use it at their own convenience and slot it into their lives.’

Shoorah, which is available to download on the App Store and Google Play, costs £9.99 per month or if you pay annually, it works out £5 per month.
And Ferne, who has overcome several difficult periods so far in her life, says she hopes the app can help tackle the mental health epidemic, adding it is the ‘ultimate self-development tool.’
She said: ‘Life is unavoidable, and it knocks on everybody’s door. And it’s all relative to that individual… stress, anxiety, trauma, heartbreak, whatever you have experienced or going through, it can be tough and all-consuming whereas we feel that with these tools, if you can do a small amount of self-development that flexes into your life then that’s so much better than doing zero.
‘You can tailor the app to what you want to work on personally, say if you want to work on your relationships or your sleep, there are little sound bites to refine your focuses.
‘What makes us different to other wellbeing apps out there and other meditation apps is that you have the self-journal feature.
‘I am someone who had so many different notepads, one for gratitude, one for my goals, and another for my manifestation and it was so confusing. It has everything in one place and is the ultimate self-development tool.
‘It is such an overwhelming space if you have never done anything like that before. So, we wanted to simplify it so that anyone on their journey, there is something for everyone.’

She added: ‘This feels like the greatest thing that I’ve ever done apart from obviously having a baby. It feels really huge for me personally and us a couple.’
