Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl Thanks Fans For Support In Touching Handwritten Note

In a touching handwritten note, Foo FightersDave Grohl expressed gratitude to fans for the support they extended to lift the rock band up during difficult times.

Foo Fighters last week released a new album, But Here We Are, their first music since the death of longtime drummer Taylor Hawkins in March 2022.

Grohl and company also embarked on a global tour with new live drummer Josh Freese in support of the album.

“Hey, it’s been awhile. Now that we’ve returned from our first run of shows, I felt compelled to reach out and thank you all for being there for us,” Grohl wrote in the note posted on Instagram.
“Every night, when I see you singing, it makes me sing harder. When I see you screaming, it makes me scream louder. When I see your tears, it brings me to tears. And when I see your joy, it brings me joy. But, I see you… and it feels good to see you, churning up these emotions together. Because we’ve always done this together.”

He added, “Because we’ve always done this together… Time and time again.”
