Gaz Beadles children Chester, 5, and Primrose, 3, support mum during hospital visit

Earlier this week that Emma McVey – wife to Geordie Shore star Gaz Beadle – underwent open heart surgery to amend the three large holes she had been diagnosed with last year.

Though the mum-of-two is currently being kept in hospital during her recovery, doting dad Gaz has been on hand to make sure Emma has everything she needs – including cuddles from their two children Primrose, three, Chester, five.

Gaz shared some sweet snaps of his two troublesome toddlers on their hospital visit with his 3.7 million Instagram followers today.

One picture saw his son and daughter dressed warmly in their puffer coats as they crossed the hospital car park on their way to visit their mum, with Gaz captioning the post "mummy visit time", tagging Leeds General Infirmary as the location.

A later snap saw Chester seemingly wreaking havoc in the hospital ward, being pictured holding onto the phone attached to mum Emma's television, whilst his little sister Primrose sat sweetly on the bed.

Earlier today, former reality star Gaz shared an adorable list of things to bring wife Emma – to whom he tied the knot back in 2021 after six years of dating.

He shared the list of things to bring for the hospital visit, saved as a note in his phone, which included things such as a photo album, a card from Primrose and a love heart gift from Chester.

Gary, 34, also intended to treat his wife with some "baking stuff" and some pegs to pin up some of her favourite photos to her bedside.

He captioned the post "our list for hospital visit today" with three heard emojis, tagging his wife in the photo.

The TV star confirmed Emma was taken to hospital to have two holes fixed and a valve mended in her heart. Posting an update to Instagram, he said it was "very important to show the hard times not just the good stuff", admitting "this is the hardest thing our family will ever go through" in a candid post to followers.

Gaz added that Emma was told the news one of her lungs had collapsed and is now on oxygen. He also said that the kids "have been so brave but also cried" – saying they've been "emotional wrecks" at bed times and mornings.

The former reality star praised his wife, too, saying she was "just amazing", is "smashing it" and the family "are so proud".
