Many may have questioned how Daniel Craig would fare after he hung up his tuxedo and stopped playing James Bond.
But judging by the ratings for his first film since the release of his final 007 movie, there is nothing to worry about.
His new Netflix whodunit, called Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, has been the most watched show on any streaming service over the Christmas period, according to new figures.

Figures provided by ratings provider Overnights.tv, covering the seven days until the end of December 28, show that the mystery comedy film, got 2.7 million viewers in this period.
Craig plays master detective Benoit Blanc who tries to solve a mystery in Greece involving a tech billionaire and his friends.
The movie, which also stars Edward Norton and Kate Hudson, easily beat 1990 Christmas movie Home Alone, which was second on the streaming list with 1.2 million viewers in this period. The Christmas film starring Macaulay Culkin is on Disney+.
Making up a large part of this top ten are multiple episodes of hit Netflix series Wednesday, a spin-off from The Addams Family story. The highest of these episodes was the sixth part which attracted nearly 953,000 viewers.

The Muppet Christmas Carol, which is available on Disney+, was the only other entrant in the top ten for this seven-day period. The film made in 1992 was in sixth place after drawing in nearly 913,000.
Other festive films in the top 20 were Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, Die Hard and The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special on Disney, as well as The Christmas Chronicles and Scrooge: A Christmas Carol on Netflix.
The original Knives Out film, also starring Craig as the detective character, now shown on Netflix, was also in the top 20 shows for this period. It got 827,000 in this period.
Craig’s last Bond movie No Time To Die was released in 2021. Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery is his first movie since his final 007 film was released.
While the figures for his new film are impressive they are still a long way short of the ratings that traditional TV channels like BBC1 got on Christmas Day alone.
The King’s first Christmas Day message was watched by 8.1 million viewers on BBC1 on the day it aired.
It comfortably beat the second-place show, the Christmas special of Strictly Come Dancing on BBC1, which had 5.4 million viewers on December 25.
