Hailey Bieber Comforted by Husband Justin After Alec Baldwins Involuntary Manslaughter Charge
The ‘Saturday Night Live’ alum is facing involuntary manslaughter charge in a shooting incident that killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on ‘Rust’ set back in 2021.
AceShowbiz -Hailey Bieber (Hailey Baldwin) may have a hard time after finding out that her uncle Alec Baldwin was criminally charged with involuntary manslaughter in a shooting accident that killed Halyna Hutchins. On Thursday, January 19, the model was pictured hugging her husband Justin Bieber while out and about in L.A. shortly after the announcement.
In a picture that circulated online, the Tiffany & Co supermodel donned a bright green oversized hoodie from Justin’s clothing line Drew. She paired the look with classic sneakers and a pair of sunglasses.
The model was snapped embracing the “Ghost” singer, who also opted for a casual look during the outing. The pop star, who donned an oversized Magical Mushrooms hoodie and sweatpants paired with tan Vans, leaned in to listen to his wife.
The “Peach” hitmaker also affectionately kissed her on the cheek. Meanwhile, a friend was seen joining the couple as they hugged each other.
On Thursday, prosecutors in Santa Fe, New Mexico revealed that Alec would be charged in connection with the death of Halyna, the cinematographer who was killed when a prop gun went off on the set of “Rust” in October 2021. Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, the film’s head armorer, is also facing the same charge, and they will both face a maximum of five years in prison if they are found guilty.
In response to the announcement, Alec’s attorney, Luke Nikas of Quinn Emanuel, denounced it. “This decision distorts Halyna Hutchins’ tragic death and represents a terrible miscarriage of justice,” he said in a statement. “Mr. Baldwin had no reason to believe there was a live bullet in the gun – or anywhere on the movie set. He relied on the professionals with whom he worked, who assured him the gun did not have live rounds.”
