Harry Styles’ ‘As It Was’ Tops Billboard Hot 100 For 12th Week
Harry Styles‘ “As It Was” has earned the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart for a twelfth total week.
“As It Was,” which debuted at No. 1 on the Hot 100 chart dated April 16, claims the longest stay at the top this decade, breaking a tie with Roddy Ricch‘s “The Box,” which reigned for 11 weeks in 2020.
The song earned 69.9 million radio airplay audience impressions, 15.4 million streams and 4,000 downloads sold in the August 26-September 1 tracking week, according to Luminate.
“As It Was” is a song from the English singer-songwriter’s third studio album, Harry’s House, released via Erskine/Columbia Records.
The song boasts the longest stay on top of the Hot 100 chart since Lil Nas X‘s “Old Town Road,” featuring Billy Ray Cyrus, reigned for a record 19 weeks in 2019.
“As It Was” is followed by Steve Lacy‘s “Bad Habit” at No. 2 on the Hot 100 chart dated September 10.
