For those who don’t know, the two created a frenzy on social media over the weekend when they sparked romance rumors after a video of them making out while standing on the streets of Tokyo surfaced. Although the hookup came as a shock to some, Harry apparently had his eye on the 31-year-old for years! In fact, he even called Emily his celebrity crush back in his One Direction days.
Clearly, the 29-year-old singer has had the hots for the model for a long time – and it looks like his dream has finally come true following their steamy makeout session. But what does this mean for the two moving forward? Was this a one-time hookup? Are they getting to know each other romantically? Well, more insight has come out that might answer some of those burning questions for fans!
An insider for Us Weekly shared on Wednesday that Harry is “thrilled” about “hooking up” with the Gone Girl actress. But what’s more? He’s keeping his fingers crossed that something more might happen between them! The source added:
“Harry has always been very attracted to Emily.”
As for EmRata’s feelings about Harry after their makeout session? We hate to break it to the Don’t Worry Darling star, but she doesn’t seem on board for a romance right now! The Us insider shared that the My Body author isn’t ready for a long-term relationship while she goes through her divorce from her estranged husband, Sebastian Bear-McClard:
“Emily isn’t looking for anything serious. She’s just trying to live her best single life and have fun.”
However, that doesn’t mean she wouldn’t be interested in spending some time with Harry! A source also noted to People on Wednesday that while EmRata is “having fun” right now, she wants to see the 29-year-old singer sometime soon:
“She is having fun and enjoys the attention from guys. She hooked up with Harry, but they are not in touch every day. Emily is interested in seeing him again though.”
So we can potentially expect another Harry and Emily meetup – and/or public lip lock – in the future! Olivia Wilde won’t be too happy about that. So much for the momma of one “begging for forgiveness” after kissing the filmmaker’s ex-boyfriend, huh!? Fortunately for Olivia, when it comes to a future relationship between these two, there is a chance it won’t be happening since Emily’s enjoying her single-girl era right now.
