Hayley Orrantia To Star In 60s Movie Musical ‘Be Alright’ With Jimmie Allen

Hayley Orrantia has been cast in the lead role of upcoming country music movie Be Alright!

The Goldbergs actress and singer will be joined by country star Jimmie Allen, who is making his feature film debut.

According to Variety, who broke the news, Jimmie actually developed the story, will also produce and co-direct, alongside Chris Beyrooty!

Be Alright is set in New York City in the 1960s, with Hayley as “down-on-her-luck Eve. Things start looking up when she encounters an ‘old friend with a new mantra’ played by Allen.”

The movie will have a “country flavor” and is set to begin production this month at the Warner Bros lot in Los Angeles.
