Holly Willoughby could focus on solo projects after Phillip Schofield
From Wylde Moon to Freeze The Fear and lucrative brand deals – how Holly Willoughby could focus on solo projects after ITV golden partnership with Phillip Schofield ends
Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield have long been ITV’s golden partnership, appearing on This Morning and Dancing On Ice together.
However, their presenting days have come to an end after Phillip, 61, quit This Morning before confessing to an affair with a younger colleague.
He first confirmed he was leaving This Morning last Saturday amid reports of a ‘feud’ between him and Holly, 42, and he then quit ITV in a statement six days later.
He confessed to having an ‘unwise but not illegal’ relationship with a man during his marriage to Stephanie Lowe, and previously denied the affair when asked about it by his agent.
Friday’s bombshell statement marks the end of his presenting union with Holly, as he has quit ITV and been dropped by talent agency YMU, and fans are speculating what is next for Holly.

She is currently on her half-term holiday from This Morning, as it remains up in the air who will replace Phillip as her co-host, with no official statement yet released.
But Holly still has a whole host of solo projects lined up that she might throw herself into, from her wellness brand Wylde Moon to her hosting gig on The Games.
As Phillip quits This Morning, MailOnline takes a look at how Holly could focus on her solo projects as her presenting partnership comes to an abrupt end…
WYLDE MOON
One of Holly’s best-known projects is her lifestyle brand Wylde Moon, which she launched in September 2021, amid her growing business empire – estimated to be worth £10million.
Holly has described Wylde Moon as an online space to empower women, explore crystal energies and offer fashion and beauty tips.
At the time of her launch, Holly said she wanted Wylde Moon to be a place where she could share the things she loves with her fans.
She said at the time: ‘I want WYLDE MOON to be a place where I can share the things that I love, the lessons that I’ve learnt, the things I see and instantly want to share with others.’
She followed in the footsteps of Gwyneth Paltrow by launching her own lifestyle website to share her favourite products with fans and sells decorative items for the home.

Lucrative: Holly has successfully grown her wellness brand and launched her first ever product in October 2021, a £65 scented candle called The Wild
Holly has successfully grown her lucrative wellness brand and launched her first ever product in October 2021, a £65 scented candle called The Wild.
The scent is available as a natural wax single wick candle for £40, a larger three wick candle for £65 and a reed diffuser for £45.
Holly then went on to launch the brand’s first ever fragrance in February 2022. The fragrance, called The Wild, has a retail price of £42.
The presenter often gives fans an insight into her everyday life on Wylde Moon’s Instagram page and could go on to launch more lucrative products with her brand.
THE GAMES
Although well-known for her hosting duties alongside Phillip, Holly also branched out to host game show The Games for ITV last year.
The reality TV show saw 12 famous faces be coached and trained before competing against each other, in the aim of becoming top of the medals table.
The five 90-minute long episodes were hosted live by Holly and Freddie Flintoff, while Alex Scott was the trackside reporter and Chris Kamara commentated.
The triathlon-style challenges saw the stars step out of their comfort zones as they were coached and trained in running, swimming and cycling before competing.
The six male and six female competitors battled it out in the athletics arena, the swimming pool, gymnasium and velodrome, putting their sporting talents to the test in events from an 100-metre sprint and diving.
As well as live event coverage, each episode also featured the celebrities’ gruelling training for the challenges.
Hosting gigs: Although well-known for her hosting duties alongside Phillip, Holly also branched out to host game show The Games for ITV last year alongside Freddie Flintoff
After the week-long event, it was Love Island star Wes Nelson and Chelcee Grimes who were crowned as winners, beating the likes of Max George and Olivia Attwood.
Ahead of hosting the show, Holly said: ‘I’m really excited to be presenting The Real Games with Freddie and the rest of the team.’
Although the show was axed by ITV after just one series, it opened yet another hosting opportunity for Holly and her success as host could see her nab even more opportunities on ITV.
FREEZE THE FEAR
Another incredible hosting gig in Holly’s jam-packed portfolio was her stint co-hosting Freeze The Fear with Wim Hof alongside Lee Mack last year.
The programme saw eight celebrities embark on a once-in-a-lifetime adventure under the training of extreme athlete Wim Hof, 62.
The series saw Holly return to the BBC after almost a decade, with her even taking time off from This Morning to film it in January 2022.
However, the series has reportedly been put on hold with the future of the show up in the air.
A source told The Sun: ‘Since 2004 Holly has almost exclusively worked for ITV as one of the channel’s most prized presenters.
‘So it was a big deal in the industry that she was hopping over to the BBC and showed she had real confidence in Freeze the Fear being a big success. But as it stands there’s been no work done on a second series.
‘This time last year the team were months into pre-production and filming was just two weeks away. Never say never, but as it stands no decision has been made on the future of the show.’

BRAND DEALS
Holly has amassed a fortune with an array of brand deals over the years, including with Marks & Spencer and Garnier.
Since 2018, Holly has been in a partnership with Marks & Spencer which has seen her release a whole host of fashion edits.
On top of this she has had a number of other profitable commercial deals, including with Diet Coke and Oral B.
In 2020, Ms Willoughby made the shock decision to take her career into her own hands, quitting the talent agency YMU and setting up her own company, Roxy Management.
This led to a legal battle with YMU, where Mr Schofield is a stakeholder according to The Sun, over their 15 per cent stake in her future earnings.
But last year, she was handed £1 million in an out-of-court settlement with the agency.
In 2021, she launched her own wellness and lifestyle brand Wylde Moon, akin to Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop.
Talent manager Jonathan Shalit from Inter Talent Rights, which represents Joan Collins, Boy George and Eammon Holmes told The Sunday Times: ‘I think people hugely underestimate Holly.
‘Many people do not realise just what a powerful, intelligent successful lady she is.
‘Holly’s presenting skills are immense but not only that – her connectability with a television audience is incredibly strong – and that has value.’

BESTSELLING BOOKS
Throughout her career she has written 15 parent and children’s books, selling more than 250,000 copies and generating £2.5 million.
In 2021 she announced she’d written her first book called Reflections, which is ‘all about inner and outer beauty’.
It is claimed she has since earned a massive £1million from the tome, with the star writing on social media when it was debuted: ‘This is a message I’ve been looking forward to sending… I’ve been working on a very special project – a book! Writing is such a personal process and between these pages you will find many little pieces of me.
Big reveal: Holly Willoughby, 40, finally revealed her debut book Reflection’s cover last summer, releasing the image which sees her posing candidly against a pink background
‘The book is called Reflections and is essentially thoughts and musings from me on inner and outer beauty.
‘We live in a world where so much is about how we present ourselves on the outside and there is fun to be had here but true beauty comes from within… there is an alignment that needs to happen and finding that balance hasn’t always felt so easy.’
Opening up further, she added: ‘Now, I’m finally at a point in my life where I can see a little more clearly and I want to share my truths in the hope that maybe they’ll help you too.
‘This book is my celebration of how inner and outer beauty can work together in perfect harmony. I hope this book will start conversations, whether they’re about how to find your signature lipstick, reclaim your sexuality, or treat yourself more kindly – and, ultimately, what it means to feel beautiful, confident, complete.’
