Jamie Oliver reveals daughter Daisy is training to be a nurse as he shares rare snaps
TV Chef Jamie Oliver has shared a rare series of snaps of his daughter Daisy to mark her 20th birthday.
In a sweet post shared with his 9.5 million Instagram followers, proud Dad Jamie wrote, “My wildest, most surprising & most bonkers child who has kept me on my toes since the day she was born. What a great young lady she is becoming.”
Jamie, 47, added that his daughter is “funny and often inappropriate” before joking that he wasn’t sure where she got the latter from.
The Chef, who recently shocked with a dramatic Valentines' Day hair transformation, also revealed that Daisy is now training to be a nurse at the University of Leeds and explained that he “couldn’t be more proud” of her career choice.
Daisy is the second of the Olivers’ five children and is just a year younger than big sister Poppy Honey Rosie, 21.
She’s also big sister to 14 year old Petal Blossom Rainbow, 12 year old Buddy Bear Maurice and six year old River Rocket Blue.
The family is extremely close knit and Jamie’s latest cookbook, Family Classics, is centred around his experience enjoying meals with his longtime wife and five children, who all still live at home.
Jamie and his wife Jools, 48, also recently renewed their vows after 23 years of marriage in a lavish ceremony featuring the whole family in the Maldives.
All five of the kids donned matching white and blue outfits for the occasion and were seen beaming in a series of photos shared by their parents, who are clearly still very much in love after more than two decades together.
Jamie even revealed that his older son Buddy, 12, acted as his best man this time around.
The couple explained that they were keen to celebrate their marriage “before all the kids start leaving the nest.”
It was worlds away from the couple's first wedding, which was a quiet and largely private affair at Jools’ local village church back in 2000.
Jools and Jamie are one of the longest standing couples in showbiz, having first met at the tender age of 18 and stayed very much together ever since.
