Jessie J Confirms Her Baby's Father as She Reveals Her Boyfriend: "Don't Want to Love Him Quietly"

Jessie J welcomed her baby boy into the world at the beginning of May, but has kept her boyfriend under wraps throughout her pregnancy journey. The singer shared her baby news on Instagram on May 19, writing, “A week ago my whole life changed,” but nothing about the baby’s father was mentioned (which is entirely her choice, might we add). Despite offering her fans a glimpse of her partner’s hand on a June 4 Instagram Story, alongside an image of her in the hospital undergoing her C-section, there relationship was kept private . . . until now.
The 35-year-old has confirmed her relationship with basketball player, Chanan Safir Colman, via an adorable reel on Instagram on June 5. “I can’t keep secreetssssss with ALL AH DIS LOVEEEE INSIDE OF MEEEE 😭,” she revealed, before wishing her partner a “Happy 1st 🇩🇰 Father’s day baby” (which occurs on June 5 in Denmark, where Colman is from). “Damn it looks good on youuuu 😍🤍,” she added. Colman then responded in the comments: “❤️❤️❤️ thanks baby! And what a 1st farthers day it was 🫂🙌🏾. And JEEEESH almost forgot hot you looked pregnant🥰🤤😍!” Too cute!
Joking about the swift change of heart and taking her relationship public, the singer also wrote in her Instagram stories, “POV, me not keeping things private,” alongside a slew of thirsty emojis. “Life is short man. Don’t want to love him quietly anymore.”
The pair were first spotted together in April 2022, as per MailOnline, with Jessie J revealing just days earlier that she met him only “weeks after” her pregnancy loss in 2021. “Like a beam of light. He lit up my dark days. It was a whirl wind love and a miracle that we fell pregnant naturally with not one issue during,” she said of Colman. “Grateful doesn’t cut it. He has given me many of the best gifts of my life.”
Before her relationship with Colman, she dated dancer Max Pham Nguyen, as per Ok! Magazine, as well dating relationship with Channing Tatum between October 2018 and October 2020. We’re so glad that the singer has finally found happiness, and we can’t wait to see more of the new parents together!
