Joe Jonas Trolls Brother Kevin for Nearly Falling Onstage During Jonas Brothers Show
After his older brother experienced a slight mishap during their concert, the 33-year-old singer shares a stitched clip of the incident and the viral ‘Dumb ways to die’ audio.
AceShowbiz –Joe Jonas has taken a playful jab at his older brother. After performing the second of the Jonas Brothers‘ five shows at the Marquis Theatre in New York City, the 33-year-old singer turned to social media to troll Kevin Jonas for nearly falling on stage.
On Thursday, March 16, Joe uploaded on TikTok a video of him reacting to Kevin’s near-fall clip. In the stitched footage, the husband of Sophie Turner could be seen smiling as he watched the incident clip playing along to a viral audio of “Dumb Ways to Die”. Still, near the end of it, he added a simple text that read, “I love you Kevin Jonas.”
The day before Joe came up with the trolling, he and his pop-rock band entertained their fans with a concert at the Marquis Theatre. In the middle of their performance, his brother Kevin whirled around in circles while playing his guitar. Unfortunately, the eldest of the brothers collided with a microphone stand, leading him to trip and come close to falling.
Concertgoers were quick to shout their support to Kevin. Joe, on the other hand, teased his brother by asking him to apologize to the mic stand. When the incident took place, the two and their band were performing one of their top-20 singles, “Pushin’ Me Away”, from their 2008 hit album “A Little Bit Longer”.
After the gig on Wednesday, Joe took to Instagram to share pictures of him performing on stage. One photo saw him singing next to the youngest member of his band, Nick Jonas. Accompanying the photos, he added a simple caption that read, “Broadway Night 2.”
Joe’s brother Kevin has also made use of his Instagram account to share snapshots from Wednesday’s show. Two photos saw him reliving the band’s iconic 2000s style with a scarf on. Alongside the post, he wrote, “Thank you for an incredible second night on Broadway. Maybe I should bring the scarf back?”
Joining the two older Jonases in sharing memories from the Wednesday concert was Nick. Alongside a collection of photos of him performing, he expressed his excitement, “What an unforgettable night! Means the world to see you all singing these songs with us 15 years later.”
Concert and mishap aside, the Jonas Brothers announced in late January that they will release a follow-up to their 2019 comeback record “Happiness Begins” on May 5. Nick said at the time, “We are excited to announce today that our new album, ‘The Album’, will be coming out 5 May. And we can’t wait to see you on tour later this year.”
