Jonathan Majors denies assaulting a woman after being arrested in NYC

‘He’s done nothing wrong’: Creed III star Jonathan Majors’ reps DENY he attacked woman as he’s allegedly arrested and charged with ‘strangulation, assault and harassment’ in New York City

Jonathan Majors is denying any wrongdoing after being arrested for assaulting a woman in New York City.

The Creed III star, 33, was taken into custody on Saturday morning on charges of ‘strangulation, assault and harassment’ as per TMZ.

However his rep has denied the allegations saying, ‘He’s done nothing wrong. We look forward to clearing his name and clearing this up.’

The alleged victim, a female, told the police Majors got into an argument with her and proceeded to ‘attack her.’ The nature of their relationship is currently unknown.

According to a source who spoke with the publication the alleged victim had visible injuries on her body, including a ‘laceration behind her ear, redness and marks to her face.’

Following the alleged altercation she was taken to a local hospital and is currently in stable condition.

Meanwhile the actor was cuffed and taken to jail right away, as police ‘felt there was enough evidence for probable cause.’ 

Cops were called to the scene around 11AM, near the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan. 

The Santa Barbara born entertainer is reportedly now out of custody.
