Kate Middleton looks right at home as she suits up on table of experts in latest engagement

The Princess of Wales has been spotted looking very smart as she was photographed for a royal engagement about her Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood.

Kate Middleton, 40, whose husband Prince William recently shared her hidden talent that he can't do, was seen meeting with a group of eight experts across academia, science and the early years sector at Windsor Castle.

The group of experts met with the royal to provide her with strategic advice and oversight of the work with the foundation centre.

Mum-of-three Kate looked incredible in a a black tailored suit, which she teamed with a matching pair of trousers. Under this, she donned a simple white shirt.

The royal styled her brunette mane down into loose waves, which cascaded over one shoulder.

Keeping her make up simple, she donned some black eyeliner and mascara.

Following introductions, Kate and the group of experts moved to sit at a round table, where she looked right at home during the discussions.

This is one of the first times Kate has stepped out this year following the release of her brother-in-law Prince Harry's bombshell memoir, Spare.

Her first royal engagement of 2023 was carried out on 20 January at Hampton Court Palace, where she attended a reception for the England Wheelchair Rugby League Team. She took over the role of patron for the team from Harry, 38, after he stepped down as a senior member of the Royal Family.

Kate has been known to convey messages in her clothing choices, with subtle references to loved ones, places, or causes immortalised in the garments themselves or in the accessories that complete an outfit.

One perfect example is the £825 gold pendant necklace that Kate stepped out in last Thursday.

At the reception, Kate wore a chic but understated necklace by designer Daniella Draper, a brand that is a firm favourite with the royal.

The 'Gold Citrine Baby Treasure Necklace', is crafted from recycled gold and features a thin and dainty chain alongside a polished Citrine stone.

Although Citrine is officially the birthstone for November, it is also believed to promote positivity in the wearer's life, something Kate could certainly do with, in the wake of Prince Harry’s ongoing attacks against the Royal Family.

According to the brand’s website: “The birthstone for November, citrine assists in manifesting your biggest dreams, bringing in more success and prosperity.”

With such a positive meaning behind it, many fans at home are convinced this is the royal’s attempt at manifesting a calmer and more positive year ahead.

One of the many claims Harry made in his autobiography involved his brother William and Kate's impression of his wife Meghan Markle, 41.

Speaking to Tom Bradby on ITV, Prince Harry recounted his version of what happened when he introduced his new love. He said his brother and Kate had been "huge "Suits fans", adding: “Who would have thought?”

But he then recounted how their preconceptions ruined the relationship.

“There was a lot of stereotyping that was happening, that I was guilty of as well at the beginning," Harry told Tom, who asked: “What do you mean by that?”

Prince Harry replied: “An American actress, right? That was playing out in the British press in the media at the time as well.

"So you know, the fact that I had at the back of my mind, and some of the things that my brother and sister-in-law, some of the ways that they were behaving definitely felt to me as though unfortunately that stereotyping was causing a barrier to them sort of, you know, introducing or welcoming her in.”

Tom then asked him specifically what he meant, with Harry explaining in detail: “Well, American actress, divorced, biracial, there’s all different parts to that and what that can mean if you are, like a lot of my family do, if you are reading the press, the British tabloids, at the same time as living life, then there is a tendency where you could end up living in a tabloid bubble than actual reality.”
