Reality TV royalty Khloe Kardashian has revealed she was only nine when she was told by her mother Kris Jenner that she needed a nose job, with viewers of the family’s show being left stunned by the insight.

Khloe, 39, rose to fame on the popular show Keeping Up with the Kardashians alongside her siblings and momager Kris, 67.

The star then went on to address her insecurities, sparked by criticism of her body shape ever since her TV debut.

Khloe has been subjected to a large amount of body shaming throughout her life.

Fans took to Twitter after Khloe’s revelation about her mother’s remark over her nose, with one person on Reddit branding the comment “horrifying”.

In an onscreen confessional for the hit reality show, Khloe said: “I’ve been torn apart the minute that I’ve gone on TV. I didn’t look like my sisters so therefore it’s not good enough. When I started changing my look, you get better make-up, you do fillers, you do whatever. I had a nose job. And there’s still people constantly bullying you.”

Many fans went on to blame Kris for her children’s obsession with their looks, after undergoing botox and beauty alterations. 

Kris also takes on the role of managing her children’s careers, as well as being their mother.

When Kylie Jenner began criticising her ear, one fan made a connection between this insecurity and Kris’s prior criticism of Khloe’s nose.

The fan tweeted: “This is the first time I heard Kylie talk about her ear, I personally find her ear very unique. I for real miss Khloe’s old nose. When I see her now, I feel bad she was unhappy with her original nose, I blame Kris Jenner for making her think she needed a nose job.”

Although, Khloe doesn’t seem to blame all of her body insecurities on her mother. 

In the candid episode of the reality show, she further opened up about her insecurities, admitting that “other people can instil insecurities”.

She added: “I had the most confidence, I was chubby and in a skin-tight, bodycon dress.

“You couldn’t tell me otherwise. Society gave me insecurities.”

In relation to her nose job, Khloe appeared to relate that to her mother.

She said: “Who knows, if I never heard mom talk about my nose, if I would ever think I needed a nose job?”.
