Kim Kardashian slammed after letting kids, nine and five, go live on TikTok

US reality star Kim Kardashian has once again found herself in hot water with fans after allowing her daughters North and Chicago – both under the age of 10 – to go live on TikTok.

The mother-of-four, 42, joined her eldest daughter North, nine, and youngest little girl Chicago, five, on the live social media app, which is reserved solely for individuals aged 13+, to film a dance routine together.

Thousands of fans quickly tuned in during the session when the Keeping Up With The Kardashians frontwoman went live with her children – all of whom she shares with ex husband Kanye West.

Kim also allowed viewers to send her "gifts", which can be converted into actual money, despite being from a billionaire family.

Whilst many onlookers gifted stickers to the trio, some critics took the opportunity to slam the TV star for exposing her children to an app they're not old enough to use.

"Lost for words," one viewer commented. "Why do people gift them and does KK even know these gifts are worth $?"

Another hit out: "Why is she going live? That’s so weird considering the s**t people ALWAYS comment on Tiktok lives. TikTok is like the worst platform for kids, and she just puts her kids straight into the firing line."

A third commented: "This is sick. Don’t even want to know the comments those poor kids are reading."

OK! has contacted Kim's representative for comment.

Kim – who also shares sons Saint, seven, and Psalm, four, with her rap star former flame – has previously come under fire in recent weeks over her parenting of her eldest child North, after she brought her as her 'date' to this year's MET Gala.

After the annual art and fashion red carpet, a video emerged that appeared to show the preteen "abandoned" outside the venue, creating backlash for Kim.

Fans were also left confused as Kim was papped cheering on basketball superstar Tristan Thompson from the side-lines of the Lakers' playoffs this weekend, despite his rocky relationship with her sister Khloe Kardashian.

"This is weird. Why is she posting more about him than Khloe?" one fan commented after Kim posted a snap Tristan on Instagram,

Another added: "Kim is acting like Tristan’s secondary wife. Girl, get a grip and get on with your life."

A third wrote: "Weird how Kim is always at Lakers games now that Tristan is on the team. And aren’t her and Khloe not talking right now?"

Another continued: "Ever since Tristan Thompson start playing again, Kim Kardashian been at every game… that’s kinda weird to me."
