Celebrities such as Robbie Williams, Christina Aguilera and Rachel Bilson have been making headlines in recent months thanks to extremely candid conversations about their sex lives.

And now an expert has revealed how the stars could be oversharing to meet a ‘growing demand for explicit content’ which has built up in popular culture.

Millie Woodman, Head of Talent at EdHopkinsPR, told FEMAIL there has been a ‘growing interest in sexual content’ in the general public.

She said: ‘It’s possible that the rise in steamy TV programmes and films is related to the fact that some celebrities are sharing details of their sex lives publicly, as there may be a growing interest in sexual content overall.’

However she added there were also other factors at play, commenting: ‘One potential factor contributing to the popularity of steamy TV shows and films is the rise of streaming platforms like Netflix and Amazon Prime, which have allowed for more diverse and niche content to be produced and distributed.

Celebrities such as Gwyneth Paltrow (pictured), Christina Aguilera and Rachel Bilson have been making headlines in recent months thanks to extremely candid conversations about their sex lives

‘Additionally, there may be a growing demand for more explicit content among certain demographics, as society becomes more open and accepting of sexual diversity and exploration.

‘It’s also worth noting that the trend towards more sexual content in media is not a new phenomenon, and has been present in various forms throughout history.

‘The rise of steamy TV shows and films may simply be a continuation of this trend, rather than solely attributable to celebrity behavior.’

Trainor declared: ‘I was told I have something called vaginismus. I thought that every woman walking around was always in pain during and after sex.

‘I was like, doc, are you telling me that I could have sex and not feel a single bit of pain?’

She and Daryl have previously made headlines for their sex life in 2019 when they visited an erotic store, with Meghan later insisting their purchases were ‘for a friend’.

They had son Riley in February 2021, and Meghan added she took ‘so long to even consider’ having sex with the actor before they conceived their second child, with whom she’s now pregnant.

Robbie Williams, 49, and his wife Ayda Field admitted earlier this year that they barely ever have sex

Robbie Williams and his wife Ayda Field admitted earlier this year that they barely ever have sex.

The former Take That singer, 49, blamed his lack of libido on coming off testosterone injections, which had been worsening his depression.

In a joint interview, the pair insisted they’re ‘on the same page’ when it comes to intimacy and are content with their lack of bedroom activity.

Robbie told The Sun: ‘Everyone knows there is no sex after marriage. That’s just the way it is. I was on testosterone for a while but, because I’m an addict, that had to stop. I got these massive square shoulders and started to look like a doorman. It wasn’t a good look.

‘But the sex we had when I was on testosterone was incredible; it was all the time.

‘We were insatiable. It goes to show how into each other we really are, though, because when I was on it, we couldn’t take our hands off each other.

‘I miss that. That was a fun period. Sometimes now, though, Ayda will turn to me on the sofa and say, “We should do sex,” and I’m sitting there eating a tangerine and just sort of shrug. So, ya know, sometimes we try.’

The actress, 43, who married her popstar partner in 2010, concluded: ‘Intimacy is the important, meaningful side of love. We’re happy.’

‘I can’t believe my daughter’s listening to this.’

Asked who she regarded as the better actor of the two, she said: ‘They’re both so talented. And Ben is a great writer and director.

‘But I guess I would probably have to say acting alone, Brad. Because if you think of all the different roles that he’s done.’

Gwyneth also spilled the beans to a series of other comparison questions such as who had better style?

‘Probably Brad,’ she said.

‘Who was more romantic?’

‘Brad.’

‘Ben.’

‘Who are you more likely to get into an argument with?’

‘Ben.’

‘Who was more high maintenance?’

‘I’m not sure I would characterize either of them as high maintenance.’

‘Who cared more about their appearance?’

‘I’m not sure. I feel like neither of them were very vain like that. I’m not attracted to guys who are like looking in the mirror the whole time.
