Leona Lewis wows in crop top months after giving birth saying she’s proud of her body

Leona Lewis has shown off her taut stomach just two months after giving birth to her first child, in an Instagram post that celebrated having brought a new life into the world.

The 37 year old singer shared a stunning snap of herself on Monday, as she smiled at the camera while posting in a pair of elasticated waist jeans, a white crop top and oversized pink blazer.

Completing her look with a small Prada handbag, Leona showed off her trim figure ahead of a night out – but it was her caption that resonated with many fans, as she explained how she was proud of everything her body had accomplished.

She wrote: “These jeans are my best friend post baby embracing all the changes and proud of this body for bringing my little girl into this world.”

Fans at home were loving the look, with countless comments praising the singer for both her attitude and impeccable sense of style.

“You look amazing!” Gushed one fan, while another soon added: “Absolutely loove the look”

“You look fabulous and so very happy,” remarked another, before a fourth commented: "Fly party momma. So glad the family is doing great.”

Leona’s husband Dennis even weighed in on her look too, as he sweetly commented: “So proud of you mein schatz. Such a hot mama.”

Leona gave birth to her little girl back in July, but officially announced the news on Instagram two weeks later, on August 3.

Sharing an adorable photo of her newborn alongside herself and doting husband Dennis Jauch, the new family welcomed their arrival into the world with a sweet, but poignant post which read: “And then there were three. Our little Carmel Allegra arrived 22.7.22.”

The Bleeding Love singer and her husband tied the knot back in 2019, after being together for almost a decade. They announced the news of their pregnancy back in March, as Leona excitedly told her fans: “Can't wait to meet you in the Summer,” as she gave the world the first glimpse of her blossoming baby bump.

In 2020, just one year after tying the knot, Leona had previously opened up about her desire to have children, with her hope to one day adopt because of her mother’s firsthand experience of having grown up in a children’s home.

She told Stella magazine: “I do want children, but Dennis and I have also talked about adopting.

“My mum grew up in a children's home. No one adopted her as a child, and I would very much like to adopt.

“But I'm still figuring things out. If it was up to my husband, we would have had kids yesterday.”
