Liam Payne made his red carpet debut with new girlfriend Kate Cassidy on Monday.

The former One Direction star, 29, attended the British Fashion Awards 2022 with new partner Kate on his arm.

Influencer Kate, 23, looked stunning in a daring black dress, with cut-outs on the midriff and a thigh-high split.

Liam also took to his Instagram to post a picture of himself with Kate, which she too shared on her own account, he penned: "First time out in a while… great to be at the British fashion awards #FashionAwards @britishfashioncouncil."

The event marks the first time the couple have been pictured together since Halloween, where the pair dressed up as Tommy Lee and Pamela Anderson.

They were later snapped enjoying a dinner date together.

A source told The Sun at the time: "They are mad about each other. Kate is a wild girl so Liam is definitely in for a fun ride. She is always out in nightclubs and seems to be loving London."

American Kate, based in New Jersey, previously studied at the College of Charleston in North Carolina, and is thought to have British heritage.

It comes after it was reported in June that Liam was seeing his ex-girlfriend Danielle Peazer.

It is thought they started speaking again after Liam split from fiancée Maya Henry, 21, earlier this year.

Earlier this year, Liam split from his on-off fiancée Maya, 21, after photos of him looking close to model Aliana Mawla surfaced on a fan page.

Commenting under the fan page's post, Maya wrote: "I love all of the fans so much but please stop sending me these pictures of my fiancé wrapped around another woman.

"This is not me and it's hard enough knowing this has happened without seeing it. Enough now."

However, a source told MailOnline: "Liam and Maya are no longer together and split up for good over a month ago.

"Maya's comments referring to Liam as her fiancé are untrue and very misleading.”

OK! contacted Liam's representatives for comment at the time.

Liam shares son Bear, five, with ex Cheryl, 39, who he dated for two and half years.
