Linda Robson, 65, joined her fellow co-stars including Denise Welch, Charlene White and Kelle Bryan on the ITV lunchtime panel show where they discussed taking a break from sex and whether it had any benefit on marriage and relationships.
It comes as the Birds of a Feather actress was recently hit by claims that her marriage was in crisis.
The Loose Women panellist has been married to her husband Mark Dunford for 33 years and rubbished the claims but admitted their relationship is not always plain sailing.
Speaking on Thursday’s episode, Linda remarked: “Can I just say I’ve been celibate for two years?”
Denise cheekily interjected: “I know, but you’ve got to get with it.”
Linda then went on to say: “I know, you got me a lady friend,” before Denise confirmed she did make the purchase.
Charlene questioned if the celibacy had helped her focus and given her clarity as Linda responded: “Well I’ve had no choice, I’ve not had it for two years!”
The actress recently hit back at claims that she had “hit a rough patch” in her marriage.
Linda put the rumours to bed – insisting that she and Mark were ok, but admitted there were a “few hiccups”.
“That’s a load of rubbish. We’re still living together. We both love our kids more than anything else in the world, obviously, you have a few hiccups in every marriage,” Linda shared recently to The Sun in response to the claims.
“We’ve been married 33 years so it’s not going to be all plain sailing, but we’re still together at the moment.”
Linda previously shared her marriage almost ended due to her social media addiction.
She opened up on her secret battle for the first time on the show in January 2020, having been absent from Loose Women for months.
She said at the time: “I wouldn’t go anywhere without my phone. I’d wake up in the middle of the night and be looking at social media. I mean, it nearly ended my marriage because we’d be sitting watching a film and I’d be on my phone.”
