Lori Harvey Says She’s ‘Really Happy’ Despite Split From Michael B. Jordan

The SKN By LH founder shows her positive attitude following the breakup from her boyfriend of almost two years as she assures that she’s ‘in a really, really good space’ right now.

AceShowbizLori Harvey is gearing up for a Hot Girl Summer. The newly-single socialite said she’s “really happy” and “excited for the summer” following her much-publicized breakup from Michael B. Jordan.

The model showed her positive attitude when interviewed by E! News on Thursday, June 23. “I’m in a really, really good space,” she told the outlet, without mentioning the split. “Like, really happy, I’m excited for the summer. I feel like this is the first summer that we have kind of no real restrictions, like we’re off lockdown. So I feel good!”

Lori is also optimistic about her skincare brand SKN By LH, which was launched last year. “Business is going good. I have some new fun projects that are coming soon that I’ve been working on, so I’m extremely excited to share that with everybody,” she shared. “Just excited to continue to grow, continue to evolve, continue to learn as I go.”

News of Lori and Michael’s split first emerged on June 5, with PEOPLE reporting, “Michael and Lori are both completely heartbroken. They still love each other.” Of why they called it quits, a source told the site, “Michael matured a lot over the course of their relationship and was ready to commit for the long term. He let down his guard with her, opening up emotionally in a romantic relationship for the first time. They had great times together and brought out the best in each other.”

Neither Lori nor Michael has spoken up on their split, but both of them have deleted pictures of each other from their respective Instagram page. Meanwhile, Lori’s father Steve Harvey appeared to confirm the news on his radio show. “I’ve heard about it. I wish him well,” the TV presenter said on “The Steve Harvey Morning Show” on June 6. “I’ve heard about it. I wish him well,” he added, before showing his support for his daughter as saying, “I’m Team Lori 1000 percent.”

“Things happen, it’s hard to be young and in the limelight and have a successful relationship,” Steve continued. “Look, as long as everybody can walk away in peace, be friends … I ain’t heard nobody say they busted no windows or nothing. As long as you don’t put your hands on my daughter, I don’t give a damn what you do.”
