Billy set his sights on getting to know Danica in an unexpected turn of events during Wednesday’s episode of Love Island.

The roofer, 23, had his eye caught by the dancer, 21, after she enjoyed a very flexible workout with him in the gym where she wore a skimpy blue bikini.

Billy appeared very distracted during the workout alongside Ekin-Su and Davide as she stretched herself out.

Later in the beach hut, Billy admitted he was now considering Danica as a potential person to couple up with, saying: ‘Yeah, I’d like to get Danica more. You can’t complain when you go to the gym and you’ve got a little fittie in front of you!

‘She’s alright to be fair so I’m just going to get to know her a bit more I think. And we can see where things go.’ 

They also enjoyed a flirty chat on the bean bags and afterwards the beauty confided in Indiyah that she did feel there could be a possible romance.

Speaking about the Surrey native she said he was a ‘cheeky boy and that there was a ‘connection and a vibe’. 

The two first met after Billy entered as one of the Casa Amor boys. He coupled up with Tasha before being cast aside when she decided to reunite with Andrew. 

Viewers didn’t miss a beat in picking up on Billy’s admiration for Danica after the workout session.

It comes as two contestants face being axed from Love Island imminently as the next dumping could be aired as soon as tomorrow.

The public had 15 minutes at the end of Wednesday’s episode to pick their favourite girl and boy, with the least popular at risk of being ditched from the show.

It comes after the population of the villa became much larger after the Casa Amor recouping when many of the Islanders chose to recouple with newcomers. 

At the end of the show narrator Iain Stirling announced:’Now it’s time for you to have your say. Head to the app where you can access voting and vote for your favourite Islander. 

‘Those with the fewest votes are at risk of being dumped from the island – so who’s your favourite girl and boy?

‘For the girls it’s Coco, Danica, Ekin-Su, Gemma, Indiyah, Paige, Summer or Tasha.

‘And for the boys is it Adam, Andrew, Billy, Dami, Davide, Deji, Josh or Luca?

‘You can pick one girl and one boy and you have just 15 minutes to make your decision.’

Wednesday’s episode wasn’t short of drama as new bombshell Adam turned on the charm with Paige as they enjoyed a VERY flirty date in the hideaway.

The returning star, 26, called the paramedic, 24, ‘wife material’ and quipped that he’d ‘hit the jackpot’ at being able to get to know her freely after her former couple Jacques tearfully left the villa on Tuesday’s instalment. 

Speaking after their date Paige seemed open to getting to know Adam after her rocky journey with Jacques – saying she was ‘looking forward to seeing where it goes’.

During the episode Adam had the chance to date three of the girls and picked Summer, Danica and finally Paige.

As she entered the hideaway she flirted and asked him: ‘Did you save the best till last’ to which he retorted: ‘Well I’ll let you decide that!’

At the end of the chat Adam thanked her for ‘an amazing date’ and said he ‘couldn’t wait for another one’, before giving her a kiss on the cheek.

Speaking to the girls afterwards, Paige said: ‘It was flirty vibes, I am looking forward to seeing where it goes. I’m a flirt anyway, I really enjoyed it, but I do still feel a bit guilty. 

‘I am going to be 100% open, but he seems like a nice guy.’

Elsewhere speaking to the guys Adam said: ‘She’s class, I saved the best till last, it’s clear as day when she is by herself after everyone said she was great. Now I understand what everyone says about he being great. She’s wife material!’ 

It comes after Jacques left the villa the day before after being coupled up with Paige for two weeks. He said he struggled to be himself after Adam expressed an interest in Paige who he was winning back after his Casa Amor infidelities.  

Elsewhere on the jam-packed episode Davide and Ekin-Su’s romance hit the rocks as they got embroiled in an explosive row over her intentions with new boy Adam. 

In addition Gemma and Luca enjoyed their first date and the Islanders were treated to a performance from pop star Becky Hill.
