Love Island first looks sees first couple to cool things off: You have to go with your gut

Love Island looks set for a villa shake-up as Zara makes her move on Shaq and the islanders take on a raunchy space-themed challenge.

In the first look teaser, Zara heads to one of the day-beds to chat to Shaq, who admits that she is someone he “would go for” had they met in the outside world.

Shaq has been coupled up with Tanya since day one and in a later chat we see him confess to her that he’s interesting in getting to know Zara.

Tanya asks him if he thinks there’s “anything there” to which Shaq replies that he thinks there could be and that he’s planning to “speak to her a bit more.”

Meanwhile, Kai is keen to cool things off with Anna-May and tells her that he has “a bit more of a spark” with hairdresser Tanyel.

Anna-May doesn’t seem too bothered though, and says, “I feel the same way and I feel like me and you, we get along more as friends. I do have a laugh with you and we can have fun but it’s more in a friend way.”

The trailer cuts to the Islanders running out of the villa to participate in the “Space Raunch” challenge, which sees the girls don sexy silver spacesuits before leaping out of a rocket and spinning around on a pole – before deciding which boy they want to lock lips with.

It looks like the challenge is set to hot things up for unlucky in love contestant Will, who is chosen for a snog by new girl Jessie.

In a cut to his a beach hut confessional afterwards, we see Will describe the kiss as “unbelievable.”

Zara chooses Tom, the boy she’s currently coupled up with for her kiss, but the rest of the islanders' choices remain a mystery.

Despite the raunchy challenge, it doesn’t look like it’s going to be all fun and games in the villa tonight.

In the teaser we see Shaq receiving a very ominous text requesting all of the islanders to “gather around the fire pit immediately.”

The first look then cuts to black – meaning viewers will have to wait and see what exactly is going down.

It comes after last night’s public vote, which saw viewers vote for their favourite girl and boy, with Aussie bombshells Jessie and Aaron exempt as they’re so new.

Earlier today, it was reported that Haris has already left the villa after a video surfaced of a man who appeared to be the contestant engaging in a vicious street brawl.

ITV haven’t confirmed the rumour that he has been dumped from the Island, but did tell OK! that “Language and behaviour in the Villa is always closely monitored, and Islanders are reminded of what we consider acceptable during their time on the show.

"Extensive duty of care protocols for all Islanders includes video training and guidance covering language and behaviour."

Love Island airs tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
