A romantic night is on the horizon for Love Island viewers on Thursday night – with Luca set to say those three important words to Gemma, according to insiders.
In scenes set to air on Thursday night, the pair will share a private moment on the terrace after THAT near-proposal.
The fishmonger, 23 says: ‘Today has been the best day in the Villa. I wouldn’t want it with anyone else.’

However, the pair are still not boyfriend and girlfriend, with Gemma saying she must have her family’s blessing before committing.
On Wednesday, as the loved-up pair sat down for a romantic dinner by the sea, Luca jokingly declared that he felt like he’s going to propose to Gemma, 19.
Despite showing an interest in each other since the beginning of the show, the pair had yet to go on a date together.

Soaking up the scenery en route to their intimate meal Luca exclaimed: ‘I feel like I’m going to propose!’
The couple take the time to discuss what they like about each other with Gemma saying: ‘I love listening to your conversations with the lads because I’m sat there literally wetting myself, but when it comes to us two you are like soft.
‘You’re quite soft. It’s nice. Just something a bit about you,’ whilst Luca replied: ‘A little bit.’

Luca then confessed: ‘I haven’t met someone like you before. I think it’s rare to meet someone like you.’
He later said that he plans on making Gemma his girlfriend after he has got the approval from her mum.

Love Island fans had hoped the former footballer would be appearing on the show’s infamous meet-the-parents episode where he would be introduced to Gemma’s beau Luca.
But the pundit has confirmed it will be his wife Louise who will be jetting over if Gemma makes it to the final week of the series.
Speaking on Sky Sports’ At The Races after watching his horse run, Michael explained: ‘My wife will do that duty. I’ll represent the horses and she’ll represent the daughter.’
Racing fanatic Michael added he has total faith in his daughter, insisting he is less worried about her turn on Love Island than he is about watching his horse Box To Box race.

He added: ‘I don’t know what I’ll get from Box To Box. But I know what I’m going to get from my daughter. I’ve fathered her for 19 years so I’m pretty sure what I’m going to get from her.’
Love Island regularly features a meet-the-parents episode in which family members are flown out to Majorca and enter the villa to catch up with their loved one and meet their new partner.
It usually takes place towards the end of the series when the couples are more settled and fans had been speculating whether Michael would ever set foot in the villa himself.
