Love Island’s Malin Andersson pulls stitch out of breast five years after surgery

Love Island star Malin Andersson was left terrified after she pulled a stitch out of her breast that was left from a surgery five years ago, thinking it was a hair.

Back in 2017, Malin revealed to her fans that she had gone to Turkey to have a series of beauty procedures done, including a boob lift, a Brazilian bum lift and liposuction.

But now, one of the surgeries seem to have come back to haunt her as she accidentally pulled at a stitch.

Malin took to her Instagram Stories to tell her followers about what happened, writing: "Guys, so I'm a little bit scared right, I went and had a shower and I looked at my right boob and I was like 'omg there's a hair'

Malin continued: "And I pulled it and it was a thicker and a bit wiry and I pulled it and it was f***ing stitching from the breast uplift I had five years ago.

"I kept pulling it and it was coming out longer, so I had to push it back in a bit. Surely that is not right? Stitching from five years ago.'

On top of the video, she wrote: "Help… This is why you shouldn't have surgery in turkey just cos you got trolled over ya boobs."

The next day, Malin shared an update with her followers to say that she has an appointment booked for next week to get it checked out.

She said: "I have an appointment next Wednesday to get it seen I'll update you.

"I tried pulling it again that's my impulsive self but then it hurt."

When she had the cosmetic surgery, Malin explained her reasons to fan.

She said: "I did beauty pageants when I was 16, and I had a bad eating disorder.

"All the excessive starving meant I had really saggy t**s.

"I hated them. I used to look at comments online saying, 'They are like puppy-dog ears.'"

However, three years later, in 2020, Malin revealed that she regretted having the procedures done, saying she was "young and naïve" at the time.

She said in her OK! column: "I didn't think about the implications it would have, I didn't think about what other people would think, I didn't think about what could go wrong. I just wanted to go and do it – all in the name of vanity."

She later went on to say: "The reality is that I was young, naïve and didn't think properly about what I was doing. When I was in all the pain, I regretted it, I just thought "it wasn't even worth it.

"I would never consider doing any kind of surgery ever again and I had to learn this lesson the hard way.

"I was in a really bad mindset, which is probably why I went for it. But I'm a very different person to that girl now."
