Love Island’s Sharon Gaffka reveals ‘disappointing’ night with ‘overcompensating’ footballer

Love Island star Sharon Gaffka has revealed the details of her “disappointing” night with a famous footballer in a new interview.

The 2021 contestant shared the story of her unsuccessful night of passion as she appeared on Grace Keeling's Saving Grace podcast.

In a game of ‘Say it or shot it’, the host asked Sharon, 26, to recall her “most embarrassing sex story”.

The former beauty queen replied: “Umm so I was in Manchester, I was out with my friends, instead of bottomless brunch it was bottomless dinner.

"I had a footballer in my DMs, plenty of money, went to their place, hooked up with them. Very disappointing performance."

Grace, wanted to know the reason for Sharon’s poor review, as she asked: "Digress? Why it was disappointing? Small peen?"

Not disclosing the footballer’s name, Sharon continued: “Let's put it this way, they're overcompensating with other possessions."

The podcast interview, shared on TikTok, led to listeners weighing in and giving their opinions on the identity of the mystery footballer.

One person wrote: “Definitely a league 2 player”, as they added a laughing face emoji.

Sharon’s bedroom confession comes after she called out Love Island for not being diverse when it comes to sexuality.

The ex Islander came out as bisexual on the ITV2 series last year and wants more LGBTQ+ representation included on the show.

Sharon told the Daily Star: "It’s not that I would change the format, but Love Island USA has managed to have openly bisexual contestants this year, so I don’t understand why we couldn’t have the same.

"I did the A Gay and a Non Gay podcast and we had conversations that, if it was 'logistically difficult', as they worded it, to have LGBTQ representation in the contestants, why then not more in other aspects of the show?”

Sharon also urged that the dating show replace its hosts, commentator Iain Sterling and Laura Whitmore, with fresh, new talent.

She said: "As much as I think Iain Stirling is great at his job, we could have maybe a gay comedian or a queer comedian do Unseen Bits, for example.

"Or, Laura Whitmore’s great at hosting the show, but have different hosts for Aftersun. It doesn’t have to be the same people. I think having more people in the mix could only be a win really.”
