Love Islands Tashas dad wades into Jacques bullying row after hes seen mocking her

Love Island star Tasha Ghouri 's dad has waded into the Jacques O'Neil l "bullying" row, after the latter came under fire for comments made about his former co-star.

Rugby player Jacques, 23, was filmed in a leaked Instagram Live watching the final of Love Island as 23 year old dancer Tasha read out her declaration of love to Andrew Le Page, 28, in which she said: "Our journey has had its ups and downs".

As Jacques filmed the TV, he could be heard quoting Love Island's Davide Sanclimenti's infamous words to Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu on the show as he shouted at the screen: "'You're a liar, an actress, go the f**k out!"

The comments stirred up a big reaction on social media, with some people accusing Jacques of "bullying" Tasha, despite admitting that he sensationally left the show due to his own mental health issues.

Her doting father, Tareq Ghouri, waded into the row with a very dignified, but fully-loaded comment on Twitter, in which he replied to the video clip, saying: "Some people grow and mature from their Island experience, some don’t. It is what it is."

The clip of Jacques caused uproar on Twitter, with one person writing: "So Jacques left the villa to protect his own mental health but is still bullying one of the girls from the outside. Does mental health not matter to girls no?"

Another person wrote: "We said f**k Jacques from the start for his behaviour towards Paige and Tasha in the villa but all of the misogynists used '#bekind' and 'men's mental health matters too' as a weapon to excuse his behaviour."

Someone else tweeted: "How about stop giving p****s the platform to rectify their image when they still mocking others on the internet Jacques doesn’t care about others mental health".

Yet another person waded into the row, tweeting: "How do you leave the show for “mental health” but bully other people? But we all have to “Be kind” to Jacques though?"

Jacques shocked his fellow Love Islanders and viewers of the show at home when he made the decision to leave the villa after he struggled with his mental health, following Adam Collard's entrance to the villa and making a beeline straight for Jacques' love interest, Paige Thorne, 24.

Following his departure from the show, Jacques, who suffers from ADHD, has described going on it as "the worst decision of my life".

In an interview with The Sun, Jacques said: "Doing Love Island was the worst decision of my life,

"I was ready to break down. I was feeling so mentally drained, I just wanted to go home and get myself right."

Jacques described how he would be "crying my eyes out" and feeling "the worst I’d ever felt in my life."
