Italian rockers Måneskin have announced a one-night-only show in New York later this month, to help kick off the SiriusXM “Small Stage Series,” presented by American Express. Taking place July 28 at the House of X, the show marks the band’s first non-festival appearance in the U.S. this year, and will give fans a chance to see the group ahead of their North American tour this fall.

Unlike their tour, which will be taking over mid-sized theaters and ballrooms, the July date is a decidedly more intimate affair, with Måneskin playing the tiny House of X nightclub inside the PUBLIC Hotel (capacity: 300). The only way to get in is to be a SiriusXM subscriber and registering to win tickets at siriusxm.com/ManeskinNYC.

For everyone else, Måneskin’s Small Stage Series concert will premiere on the SXM App on August 1 and can be heard in its entirety on SiriusXM’s Alt Nation (ch. 36) on Friday, August 5 at 5:00 pm ET. Additionally, select songs from the show will air across multiple SiriusXM music channels including SiriusXM Hits 1, The Pulse, Pop Rocks and PandoraNOW.

The Måneskin show helps launch the new “Small Stage Series” initiative from SiriusXM and American Express, which seeks to promote small businesses and small, iconic music venues. As part of the lead-up to the concert, American Express will partner with local businesses and restaurants around the House of X to offer exclusive deals and discounts to both music fans and Amex card members. After two years in a pandemic, Amex’s recent “Shop Small Summer” survey offered a little bit of optimism, with over half (58%) of small business owners saying they expect to see an increase in business during the summer compared to the rest of the year.

Four other artists will host “Small Stage” concerts with SiriusXM and American Express this summer, with the campaign running until September. The brands say the exact dates and the other participating acts will be announced soon.
