Marcus Rashford ‘spotted with Love Island star Natalia Zoppa’ following split from fiancee

Marcus Rashford, the Manchester United footballer, has been seen spending time with Natalia Zoppa, a former Love Island contestant, during his off-season in California. This comes shortly after his reported split from his fiancee, Lucia Loi, with the pair calling off their engagement after he proposed to her in May of the previous year.

Following the news of his split, Marcus was snapped arriving at a Miami hotel with personal trainer Courtney Caldwell. Now the pair have been spotted again at the upscale restaurant Nobu in Malibu, this time joined by Natalia Zoppa, who gained fame as a contestant on Love Island in 2020. Natalia joined the show during Casa Amor, where new single Islanders try to catch the attention of those who are already coupled up. However, she was eventually eliminated from the villa following a public vote.

The Manchester United ace was spotted leaving Nobu with Courtney and Natalia. The group were all smiles as they departed the restaurant around 1 am, five hours after their arrival. However, the night ended there as Natalia and Courtney got into one car, while Marcus entered another car by himself.

The footballer's romantic life has attracted attention since his split from Lucia Loi around two months ago, who he dated since the age of 15. At the time of the split, a source told The Sun: "It’s nothing complicated. The relationship ran its course and they remain very close friends."

After nine years together, they split in May 2021, blaming the pandemic and lockdown pressures. However, the pair reunited in January last year and four months later Marcus popped the question on a postseason getaway to Los Angeles after they shared a romantic meal at celebrity seafood restaurant Catch LA.

In an Instagram post shared by the couple, Marcus and Lucia could be seen kissing in front of a floral heart-shape display made up on white roses, as they were surrounded by flowers, sparklers and candles. The young couple were reportedly "over the moon" to be set to tie the knot after eight years together.

Natalia recently hit headlines as she opened up about getting fillers in her bum. The 23 year old took to her Instagram Stories to say that she wanted to "be transparent" with her followers about any cosmetic work she's had done as she went on to admit that she has been "insecure" about her "hip dips" for a long time. In her next Instagram Story post, Natalia shared the before and after shots of the results, as she could be seen standing in a bright blue thong.

Natalia went on to post another video as she pre-empted negative comments about her decision to go through with the procedure.

Speaking to the camera, she said: "Just a quick PSA (public service announcement), because I know that there will be some people in my DMs being horrible and judgemental, saying 'you're so fake', 'you don't need it', 'you looked so much better before' – please worry about yourself.”
