Mark Wright shares his ‘building nightmare’ in Mallorca

Mark Wright wowed fans as he showcased the stunning holiday home he shares with wife Michelle Keegan in Mallorca.

The couple have been renovating the luxury home for months and are thrilled with the results after a “nightmare” start to the work.

Sharing a slick video of their place in the sun, the 36-year-old wrote: “Sorry for the delay… if you’ve been following this reno journey it was a tough call if we were gonna get it done in time but we did it!

“So many of you have asked to see it finished so here we go… Couldn’t have done it without the amazing team that helped me.

“You all went above and beyond to help us pull this off. It’s been a dream of mine to have a place out here for as long as I can remember, now time to enjoy it!”

The modern apartment is bright and stylish in creams and browns, with a living room and bedroom that overlooks the sea.

The kitchen features a standout marble wall and the glossy bathroom follows the same theme.

Mark’s DIY dream had previously been a “nightmare” after builders left the property in chaos.

In March, the former TOWIE star even had to embark on a 30-hour drive to Mallorca to sort out the mess.

He said at the time: “30 hour drive to Mallorca, and 2.5 weeks to completely refurb an apartment, that was left to be done last year and turned in to building nightmares.

“As they say, if you want it done Wright, then DIY!” (sic)

Fortunately, Mark and wife Michelle were able to rely on the help of their family members who pulled together to help get their dream home ready.

In an exclusive interview with Express.co.uk in April, The former Strictly contestant continued: “It was a company I used in Spain. and it just went totally wrong, so I had to go out there and sort it out.

“As a family, we all dug in and my mum and dad were out there the other week helping me.
