Married at First Sight UK couple expecting first baby together
Married at First Sight UK couple Owen Jenkins and Michelle Wadler are expecting a baby.
The happy couple announced their baby joy on Instagram on Thursday, 25 May, as Michelle showcased her blossoming bump.
In a separate snap, Owen and Michelle shared a picture of their baby scan.
The parents-to-be wed in 2020 shortly before the country went into lockdown.
Michelle, who hails from Sussex, then relocated to Sheffield to be with Owen.
“So, we’ve got news…” they captioned the exciting post as they were quickly inundated with congratulatory messages.
“You’ll both be incredible parents,” wrote MAFS UK matchmaker Paul C Brunson.
“OMG I’m sooooo happy for you both! Congratulations,” added another, as a third went on: “Oh my goodness! Owen this is the best news ever! Congratulations to you both.”
“Omg!!!! Amazing news guys!!!” added another excited MAFS fan, while someone else labelled their post as “the best news”.
Fellow MAFS UK star Adam Aveling also shared his congrats.
Adam is an example of another MAFS success story after he found love on the sixth series of the show with Tayah Victoria, with the pair welcoming their daughter Beau into the world last October.
The happy coupleshared their pregnancy news with OK! last yearand voiced their excitement at becoming parents.
Tanyah told us at the time: “I thought it would happen and it did! We’re so excited. And the thing is we weren’t even trying! It just happened. I can’t believe it. We’re obviously just very fertile.”
“We both said we wanted to be young parents so we’re so happy it’s happened,” Adam added.
They then announced Beau’s arrival in a sweet hospital snap shared online. The tot was born on 7 October.
“Welcome to the world Beau Emily Aveling,” Adam shared in a heartfelt Instagram post.
“I will never forgot the moment me and your mum first clocked eyes on you. I will never forget the look in your mums eyes. Her eyes saying a thousand words!
“What mothers have to go through to bring a baby to this world is incredible. And you did absolutely amazing @tayahvictoria and I’m so proud of you! Starting a family and becoming a Dad is all I’ve ever wanted.”
Adam went on to thank the staff at Doncaster hospital where Beau was born.
“Thank you to the amazing health workers at Doncaster hospital and especially to the midwife who stayed long after her shift to stay with us and deliver her! The NHS is amazing and needs protecting and funding at all costs!” he penned.
