TOWIEs Georgia and Tommy put wedding on hold after devastating miscarriage

Georgia Kousoulou and Tommy Mallet have reportedly put their wedding plans on hold, after they suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage at 12 weeks pregnant.

The decision was reportedly made after Tommy took a step back from his job to help support Georgia, who recently said that "she'd never known pain" like the miscarriage.

The couple's sad decision to delay tying the knot will be seen in their ITVBe series, Georgia and Tommy: Baby Steps, which will return tomorrow night, according to The Sun.

The series will take a deeper journey into their lives as they navigate their pain from the pregnancy loss. The first episode, which aired last week, saw Georgia and Tommy announce the pregnancy to their families.

Georgia shared the sad news that she’d lost her baby in April, and had to undergo surgery as a result.

Alongside a picture of her in a hospital bed, Georgia wrote: "Our 12 week scan to be told our baby had not survived & I needed an op…

"12 weeks of feeling every emotion , hoping & praying but in the end , nothing else we could of done."

She went on: "We don’t really have the words to say right now except we are lucky to have amazing family & friends around us .. & most importantly we are blessed to have our beautiful brody who we couldn’t of got through this without him.

"We will have the words soon but right now we are taking time for us as a family."

Georgia and Tommy have been praised by their fans for documenting the reality of pregnancy loss.

As the former TOWIE star shared a clip from the show to her Instagram page, commenters were quick to share supportive messages, with one writing: "Your so brave, this is heartbreaking to see you like this just wanna give you a big hug.”

Shelby Tribble replied to her post: “So brave all of you and you’re the best mum so proud of you for speaking out on something so heart breaking. Can’t wait to watch! Love you lots”.

And Talia Oatway, who recently shared the first snaps of her seven month old son who has been diagnosed with Apert Syndrome, added: “You are so bloody strong!”

Elsewhere, a reassuring fan said: “People who have lost babies understand how you feel, 1 week, 9 weeks, 16 full term a baby is a baby and is part of you your allowed to feel these emotions your brave you both are xxx”.

“One of the hardest times of my life, my miscarriages. V brave to carry on filming to help others going through similar,” said another.
