Love Island star Maura Higgins was reportedly left ‘shaken up’ after a terrifying raid by masked men at her Essex home.

Sources close to the influencer, 32, told The Sun she is upping security at her home after three masked men ripped down one of the gates at her complex and attempted to steal vehicles.  

The insider said: ‘Neighbours caught it all on CCTV and it was chilling to see three masked men ram through the gates and start trying to break into cars.

‘Maura has lived in her gated community for three years and said she no longer feels safe.

‘There are a number of high- profile names in that complex and living in that area. It is worrying for everyone, including Maura.

They added: ‘Maura is upping security on her car and at her home.’

MailOnline has contacted Maura’s representatives for comment. 

It comes after Maura was pictured leaving a night out over the weekend with a hunky new man after partying at Marylebone’s Chiltern Firehouse.

The reality star was spotted with Chris Hemsworth ‘s stunt double Bobby Holland Hanton as they headed home after the night out.

The glamorous reality personality was seen getting into a taxi with Bobby and heading off to a new location.

According to his website, Bobby has performed as a stunt double in 50 full feature films, working closely with Chris Hemsworth as his stunt double for 10 years.

He has also worked on films with Tom Cruise, Christian Bale, Harrison Ford, Robert Downey Jr, Angelina Jolie, Morgan Freeman, Charlize Theron, Johnny Depp, and Leonardo di Caprio.

Bobby began his career as a gymnast and competed as a National Squad Member and National Gold Medalist.

In February, Maura appeared to have set her sights on a new man as she had been seen cosying up to an American toyboy while on holiday in Mexico .

She was seen looking loved-up alongside 24-year-old Yisroel Solomon during a recent holiday to Tulum.

Yisroel, from Los Angeles , is based in New York City and works as a transfers manager.

He is also a licensed real estate agent and has a degree in marketing, according to his LinkedIn profile.

He attended the private YULA Boys High School in Los Angeles where tuition costs $39,000 per year.

The pair posed for an Instagram snap while in Mexico where Yisroel was seen giving Maura a kiss on the cheek as they wrapped their arms around each other.

It comes after the Irish beauty was pictured enjoying a very amorous moment with Joey Essex at the Pride Of Britain Awards in October.

In January, Joey, 32, finally broken on his silence on their passionate clinch.

Speaking to heat magazine, the reality star seemed to get himself in trouble with his PR when he began to open up about the moment.

Asked what had happened with the Love Island star, Joey confessed: ‘I don’t know! I can’t even remember.’

During the glitzy Pride Of Britain event, Joey and Maura were seen getting close as they caught up at the Red Bar in London’s Grosvenor House.

An excited Maura could be seen smiling with her eyes closed as she leaned her head close to Joey’s, while Joey was also seen edging closer to the beauty.

Maura later joked about the encounter by licking pal Krystal Dawn’s face, and teasing: ‘It’s how I greet people!’
